Beware of damaged parts
Purchased 2 of these fans for 2 bedrooms in our new home. These match the fans the contractor installed in other rooms. Unfortunately as we opened one of the boxes it was discovered the shade was damaged. I called the manufacturer and he advised me to contact Lowe’s. Basically I should have returned it but I hired an electrician to install them so returning it was not an option for me. A bit disappointed with Lowe’s.
Quiet, effective fan
We bought this fan to replace a ceiling fan that might have been original to the house (30+ years old). The Linden fan has a DC motor, so it is nearly silent (perfect for a bedroom) and energy efficient. It was straightforward to remove the old fan and install this one. No complaints at all.
