Looks great but quite a high price. I can still recommend the rod and would purchase again
Had a hard time finding a D-shaped shower pole for a smaller bath tub, so was very happy to come across this. Looks great, easy input, great to have the two length options.
Très bien et solide
Came with no instructions. They make it very complicated to get the directions. I am not that tech savvy. Very displeased.
Perfect fit.
Perfect fit and finish, can’t beat that warranty either.
O.K. Product
The product is o.k. I serves the purpose that it was designed for.
No Clear Parts List or Instructions
First off I have assembled lots of Ikea products in the past and in general most of these products come with a detailed parts list and instructions. If you review all before you begin, sort out the parts to make certain that you have everything you generally end up successful. This was not the case with this product. First off there are no instructions included, you need to go online for them. What is available online does not include a parts list. This is important because there are many extra parts that are provided for a range of installation situations. So with an incomplete instruction guide online one begins to wonder about all of this extra parts. And if you don't have the standard installation good lick sorting it all out. I did but best to know what you're getting into before you begin- look at the online instructions before you buy... A detailed instruction guide/parts list shipped with this product would maybe add 10 cents to the price, not too much to ask for with a $200 item
Got the job done
It wasn't exactly what I needed because it's not made for taller ceilings, but I knew that when I bought it. I was able to make it work by putting the ceiling support on an angle to tie it into the same wall the shower rod is attached to. Voila!
Why can you not put the installation instructions
mad . you cant put the instructions in the box . wasted 1/2 ay to go print the darn things and still not good
Works but...
I bought this for a 100yr old house that has only 6 foot tubs. The carpenter had fix it to make it more sturdy. The 2 screws to hold it to the wall were missing and the front part of the D was very flimsy not level kinda like a see-saw. He had to add screws to make sturdier.
Handle with care. But it improved our lives!
It is a bit delicate. It comes with one ceiling support. We found it was necessary to buy an additional ceiling support so we could put one at the right front corner and one at the left front corner. Then the curtains can overlap nicely. It is so nice to be able to take a real shower now after 6 months of only having a tub.
Expected higher quality
Based on the price and description, I thought the rod would be much more sturdy. I have assembled it and mounted it with the really weak anchors provided, and that may withstand the weight of a shower curtain (its whole purpose) but various rods and support brackets are held together exclusively with the tiniest set screws you have ever seen. Thankfully my teenage daughter is out of the house, because I don't think it could be certain to withstand a brisk tug.
been nice if it fit
the shower rod was flimsier than I was expecting. I couldn't even add extra support to make it work with my tub. disappointed with it, as I was really excited about being to have an affordable and strong shower rod around my tub.
Awesome but for the mounting the hardware
The screws provided are not very stout. I broke two and stripped one on the install. Everything else seems well made and fits together well.
Nice Quality
Have not installed product yet but it is a little wider than the current rod. I am hoping this solves the "fighting with the shower curtain" issues of the past.
