It's way too early to tell. Just got the tub in the bathroom, but still have to finish the remodel before we can really check out this tub.

Great features.

I’ve only had this tub for a week, but I love the style and how it looks in my bathroom. The whirlpool and air bubbles features feel amazing and the leg massager is perfect for when I only want that.

Questionable quality and instructions

After using this 10 times, the purge cycle wouldn't turn off. To give credit where credit is due, American Standard sent me a brand new part, but wouldn't pay for the $500 in labor costs. I later contacted customer service to ask about an unlabeled control on the inside of the tub. It was never referred to in the instructions. Customer Service had no idea what the control was for and suggested I turn it back and forth and see what happened. Not if it might lead to another $500 labor charge!

Great bathtub. Terrible online ordering experience

It is a great walk-in bathtub and I am completely satisfied with it. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I looked long and hard before deciding on this one and it did not disappoint. My only complaint, and it is huge, was the whole ordering online experience. It left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. It took several weeks to get to me and left me very frustrated. I don't ever wish to order from Lowes online again. Even when I called my local Lowes to try to get some information I wasn't treated well by a fewnof their employees including a manager.

Faulty electrical

Three weeks after install One of the Two lights stopped working. When I called American Standard customer services, I was told that they would send replacement parts, but I would have to pay someone to repair it or fix it myself. This tub unit is 3 weeks old and cost $8200.00 and I will have to pay someone to fix it? That is absolutely RiDICULOUS!

American Standard Walk in Tub

I am disabled with degenerative disc disease and could not stand up to shower at all. This walk in tub and all it's features has been such a blessing to me. I am able to enjoy a bath again and comfort also due to the jets and senior friendly features. The quick drain is amazing along with the inline heater. I would recommend this walk in tub to all!

Only 3 side

I bought this tub and while I love it, there was one major issue. The tub has only 1 side and neither Lowes nor AM, mentioned this model needed an additional kit or build pony walls for the ends. Now the good part, the quick drain is great! The tub is wonderful to sit in and soak.

After diligent research on walk-in tubs, I bought American Standard...

After diligent research on walk-in tubs, I bought American Standard because of the reputation and history of the company. The first time I used the tub, the powered drain did not work. I called the company and they asked me several questions, which told them the pump was defective. They send me a replacement pump the next day. I found out that they don't cover the removal and install of parts and it cost me over $200 for a plumber to install the new pump. It now works. Also, the gravity drain does not work properly, as the mechanism is pretty flimsy. After three uses, I had to hold the drain open twice with my hand during the emptying process. I bought the 60 inch premium gelcoat model with most all the features, not a low end product that I would expect to have potential issues. I am more disappointed with the supervisory customer service when trying to speak to someone about the non coverage of pump installation. I called twice and was transferred to voice mail to the same person and left messages twice. Still no return call. Not the way to conduct business.

The tub is fantastic at retaining heat, the disco lights are fine and I’m sure my 80-year-old mother will enjoy those.The strength of the Massage Gess however is less than expected. Overall a good product could be improved

Wonderful Soaking Experience

We purchased this for the bathroom remodel and really like having it as an alternative to a shower. We installed a huge shower with the walk-in within the shower area. Although it takes quite a while to fill (Not unusual for such a large tub) the jet and heater system works well. The quick power drain is wonderful. Only issue is small door opening to the inside...but it is a short tub, and well worth the minor inconvenience. We were very happy that we hired professionals (as recommended) for the installation !

My walk in tub

Love the tub. One exception, and this is why I gave you a 4 start rating rather than 5. The drain cap is a problem. The screw that controls the cap is to short. I'm using a longer screw, or replacing the screw with an adjustable rod. Other then that my wife is quite satisfied with the tub.
