Nicely boxed. Easy to install for every type of person: contractor and home owner. They are switchable between 2500k and 4000k of lighting lumens. They screw into your existing recess light housing and the are connected with the quick connect fittings. They fit into 5" or 6" recess can housings. The only problem is that they are made for specific types or recess housings. They require a spring lock holder in the housing.

[Rewarded Review] Light light for a high hat retrofit, but watch the mounting.

I wanted to convert an old high hat to an LED bulb. This light has a 95 degree angle, which is nice and wide, and a 1000 lumens in brightness. There are two light color selections of 3000 and 4000. The install uses two spring hangers which will go into the old fixture's existing slots. Unfortunately for me, the high hat that I was working on did not have these slots, so there was no way for me to attach the light. If you buy this light, make sure the fixture has the necessary mounting slots.

[Rewarded Review] Functional AND an Easy Install

These LED offerings just get better with time. The EnviroLite LEDs are very easy to install in existing ceiling cans; simply unscrew the existing bulb and insert the provided 'pigtail' assembly and plug it into the LED fixture. The fixture, itself, is designed for both NEW and REWORKED installation. Of course the LEDs are more efficient to operate and are longer-lasting than conventional bulbs. A really nice feature is the selectable light output on each of the LED fixtures. The switch must be set to the desired output before you install the unit BUT the fixture is so easy to install/remove you could change the output AFTER installation (if desired).
