Very Pleased Overall
First, there are a couple of things that are incorrect in the description that should be made clear. The finial is not black, but rather a nickel color--and nicely substantial. The second thing is that the switch is a 3-way switch, which was a nice surprise. The included bulb is not a 3-way bulb, so I purchased one and it works as it should. So, it would be nice if the included bulb were a 3-way. The lamp was very easy to assemble--a one-woman job in about 15 minutes. The included L-wrench is the only tool you'll need. The bulb socket was slightly crushed upon arrival, so I had to work it open so it would receive the bulb. I am a metalsmith and had the tools to do it. The shade was a lovely surprise--beautiful fit and finish--it makes the lamp. So, while I am happy with the final result, I think it was a little bit overpriced.

Better options for lamps at this price point
The quality of this lamp isn't reflected in the price. It is constructed of hollow metal tubing. It appears as an inexpensive big box store lamp, reminiscent of those torch lamps from the 1990s. There are many better options on Overstock at this price point.

Pretty, but not worth assembling
Pretty lamp, but they don't help you assemble it. Too many pieces. Ordered it with my furniture, not only did they not assemble it like the rest of my furniture, they wouldn't even take it inside or take away the excess packaging. Super frustrating, non-friendly delivery.

This is a great looking lamp. I like that the cord is hidden in the leg. It was easy enough to assemble, although it goes a little better with 2 people as the legs can be cumbersome for one to handle,
