Good product I actually used it for a single 5 " thick door.

Works great but be sure to read the instructions several times before installing it.

Product is beautiful but had a nick in the frosted glass. We were able to try to fix it instead of reordering.

Unwilling to asssit with return under circumstance

I ordered this as part of a home renovation. I became ill and was unable to start on this part until now. I discovered this hardware would not work for this space (the box was unopened in original packaged condition). I was just 3 days outside the return window and under the circumstances was hopeful the merchant would accept the return since it was in original unopened packaging. They were completely unwilling to accept the return (even if there were a potential "restock fee"). I might understand if the package had been used or even just opened, but beither was the case. The hardware itself is probably good, but the lack of customer service under the circumstances is disappointing at the very least.

Poor customer service

I never received my PAID for special order hardware kit, I also did not receive an email that the kit had arrived, a Lowes associate sold my kit to another customer. I have had nothing but problems with the last 4 orders that I have made. I will be taking my business elsewhere if Lowes can't take better care of their customers.

Check the Bolt Length for the Hangers

The kit does not offer a variety of bolt lengths for attaching the hangers to the door. You will need to go to the Homacer website to purchase longer bolts if you have a thicker door. They are $2/bolt (as of April 2023) from the Homacer website and you will need 8 bolts to hang 2 doors.

We are very pleased with the sliding door hardware! ...

We are very pleased with the sliding door hardware! Finally found a way to put a sliding door in where there was not a lot of space around the door by putting 2 smaller overlapping doors on the same rail.

The hardware is wonderful the doors not so much

The hardware is great. The doors were wet and had mold on them. After they were put together and dried out they developed cracks. I filled them with wood filler and stained them and the urethane and they look great now. HOMACER did make good on the problem with the doors so can’t complain about the customer service. They weee very helpful.

Fabulous and Functional!

I built four 4x6 white boards for my classroom and used these to hang them over the windows. The hardware is heavy duty and of great quality. The installation was easy (after watching a video) and the doors glide like a hot knife through butter.

I received the Homacer 5.5 ft./ 66 inch Black rustic single track bypass sliding barn door track and hardware kit for double doors, black/5.5 ft. Very heavy box delivered. Checked all parts. My husband just had knee replacement surgery so unable to assemble right now. We do know the design though which I included a picture of. Also included a picture of one he did previously. We will be mounting this over sliding door in master bedroom and will match an accent wall already done in there. The rail could have been longer but we can make it work by mounting the hardware in closer for door overhang. I think it will look fabulous when we can get it done.

Beautiful hardware - needs a few tweaks

I actually got the Straight Design, not the Classic, so this review applies to that product. This hardware is beautiful and very well built. I installed my 10' track into a 2x12 header board. When finished, I was able to hang my full weight (175 lbs.) from the bar and it did not move - no flex, nothing. I haven't hung the doors yet as I still have to build them, but so far I'm loving the hardware. I do have two issues. First, I bought the metal wheels (which are awesome), but there is no easy way to change out the wheels. The hex nut holding the wheel in place turns the entire axle, and the round piece on the other end (which shows when mounted on the track) is so thin that I can't get a good grip on it with any tool I've tried in order to remove the wheel. Customer service suggested holding it with a hex wrench(!), but there's no place to insert the wrench. I still haven't solved the problem. The other issue is that the arm protrudes above the wheel on the straight arm to the extent that it's hitting my doorway. I checked clearance with the bent arm before installing the track, never thinking that there would be a difference between the design of the two arms. The straight arm is 3/8" higher! Haven't solved that problem yet either. I'm waiting to hear back from Homacer if they can build me straight arms without the protrusion above the wheel. My only other good option is to grind or cut off that extra metal protruding above the wheel on the straight arms. Not something I really want to do. There is no reason I can find not to make the two arms the same - or at the very least warn a customer that they are different.
