I didn't received what I ordered

Not as advertised.

They are the exact same size is a 6” replacement. So they don’t cover my 7”.

Product delivered was not what was shown on website . Had to request refund

Description is deceiving. It says its for a 7 in can but is actually the outside diameter. This produces is for a 5/6 in housing.

Pros and Cons w/ this product

Purchased a bunch of these to replace 7" incandescent cans in a large home. Of the 25 I used, one of them was DOA. The overall build quality is nice, and the light itself looks and works great once installed. This is one of the very few remodel inserts for 7" cans, and it is described as being able to be used in 5,6, and 7" can housings. However, for 7" cans, the spring wires are a MAJOR hassle to use, as they are just too short to properly hold the light in the housing. Probably work fine in a 5 or 6" housing, but I did not use them as such. Otherwise, a pretty nice light.

I ordered a large number of these fixtures to replace old bulb based fixtures in my house. These look good and work well, if you can get them installed. Unfortunately, the retention springs that are used to hold the light in place within the can are way too stiff. When trying to bend them to position in the clips within the can, the springs snap in half, rendering the light useless, because you can no longer get them installed properly. I have had at least 6 of them snap their spring.
