Not easy to put together

Not easy to put together. The side panels split when trying to slide into slots.

Too many parts that don’t fit! Total garbage!

I could not get it together. Instructions sucked. After 5 hours of trying to get the lids on, I gave up. Waste of $$$$

Parts issue

A bit challenging to put together and unfortunately had 2 left corners instead of one left and one right. Still working on resolving the issue with the manufacturer.

Avoid.

I’m pretty handy. I am a hobbyist woodworker, and yet I found assembling this item to be extremely challenging. Poor instructions, and literally nothing is pre-assembled. You basically get a kit with extruded aluminum, some polycarbonate panels, some plastic joints, and some screws.

extremely poor instructions, dubious quality

I read reviews saying how hard to assemble this is, but was a bit arrogant because I'm extremely handy. Believe the reviews. Better instructions, and maybe better pictures of the finished product could have helped, but just the way the screws go in gives me little hope that this will last. I like the minimalist design but would defintely not recommend to a friend

Very difficult to assemble; the directions were not clear; very cumbersome; plastic parts were so tight that it was hard to slide the metal frame into. The ends of the metal frame pieces were rough and sharp - sliced a couple of my fingers. I recommend that it comes preassembled or Home Depot offers (for free) to assemble.

Overall the cold frame is pretty much what I expected, but the assembly was a pain and the directions were a little confusing. It comes with screws that were not the right screw type for this type of project, which complicated things. It is a nice design though and will work for what I need and the price was right. There are some gaps between the doors on top, but that shouldn't affect the function and might serve to release excess heat.

Difficult to assemble

Well made but extremely difficult to assemble. The instructions are terrible and omit much. However, that said, we finally got it together and it will do the job m.

Overall: Decent

This is not a sturdy item, but it seems well enough designed. The single worst thing (a common complaint from customers on many products) are the instructions. It shows what part goes where, but does a bad job in that it doesn't share the best ORDER of assembly, and so I had to undo and redo parts. But it is a decent enough product, and accurately described. Nice thing is it is very light, so easy to move.

It is a nice greenhouse but the process to put it together was awful. It took several days of struggling with it, bloody fingers from sharp edges, and it almost broke multiple times. I would not recommend.

It be great if the inserts fit into frame. Can’t put it together.

Instructions were hard to follow, I thought the clear paneling would be heartier. My plants died with the first frost so it really didn't protect them as well as I thought it would. It will probably work better in the Spring time as opposed to protection in the Fall.

difficult to assemble

Very poor assembly instructions difficult to assemble.

PLASTIC Hutch with doors, I will be NOT surprised it will be break!!! Made in CHINA!!

Missing part

It was very difficult to assemble. In addition, I was missing part S3 that attaches to the windows. Then, I received a bag of screws instead of the part I was missing.

This is horrible. Impossible to assemble. Inferior quality. After 12 hours still couldn't get it to fit together. Directions are the worst. Don't waste your time

Good for small plants.

The best way to keep plants protected while still getting the benefits of sunlight. I find that it’s also a good way to keep small garden looking organized.
