Great deal on metal kitchen trashcan

Got a 50% off deal on this trashcan and definitely worth it at that price. As advertised. Not as sturdy as more expensive ones, and a little wobbly when you step on the can opener at the base, but for this reduced price i think completely worrh it!

[Rewarded Review] Overall nice trashcan. Packaging could be better

The trash can is very nice! Love the color and size. The step handle to open is GREAT. However, you’re taking a chance on if the product comes damaged or not due to lack of protection on the sides of the can during shipment. Company could do better with packaging the product. We received our trashcan with a huge dent in the side (as well as the box). Unfortunately for us we already disposed of our old trashcan so we chose just to try to “pop” the dent out instead of sending it back so now it’s just got a lot of little dents in it (still disappointing since it’s new). It’d be nice if they packaged the styrofoam all around the sides of the trashcan instead of just on the top and bottom.

Really nice quality but standard 8 gallon trash bags do not fit in it.

This is a really nice quality trash can especially at the sale price but you cannot use standard 8 gallon bags. This can is tall and skinny not short and squat like standard 8 gallon trash cans. If you use an 8 gallon bag, it will not go all the way to the bottom of the can. If the bag gets heavy or you throw something heavy inside, the bag will dislodge from the sides and fall into the can. There is an internal bin that you can take out but I want to be able to use a bag since I don't want to constantly have to clean out the bin. I'm going to return it.

Prefect size for small kitchen

The size is perfect for our small kitchen. I didn’t expect the brand on the trash can to be a sticker and can peel off. The sticker makes it look like a lower value. The trash can is on the pricey side for the size compared to other well known brands.

Stylish bin

It's very nice to meet the practical necessity of a bin - that it's simple, functional and well made but have the added features of discretion and style too, given that it's so visible in a kitchen. Very nice colour, good capacity and easy to get the liner out when wanting to dispose of waste. Happy with it. Extremely well packed by the way so little risk of damage during transportation

Better than expected, too quality

I wasn't sure if this bin was going to be as as good as it looked but it is quality. Soft close and sturdy, even came with free liners! Just wish I good find some more of the very good quality bin liners

Nice Slim Profile

It's just as it's described, slim and has a low profile in the kitchen. The only drawback, is maybe they can put some rubber pads on the bottom. To keep it from sliding back, and you constantly have to pull it forward, to give it that 1-2 inch clearance. I might end up putting some on myself. Other than that, I would definitely recommend!

I searched for so long to try and find a stylish bin, that was big enough to be practical but that wouldn't stick out and be an eye sore. This bin is perfect for exactly that! They also included bin bags completely free!! Thank you so much, it's the little things in life for me. Worth every penny!

Excellent kitchen bin

This is hands down the best kitchen bin I've owned.The finish on the bin looks great. I have the chocolate brown colour. It has a matte metallic paint look. It sort of looks matte with flecks of sparkling paint in it. It has a matte feel.The bin feels sturdy, the pedal function works well, feels sturdy and reassuring to use and the inner liner bin is also well made with that handy excess bag hole.For the price, this bin is an excellent product. I definitely recommend it for anyone currently in need of a new bin. Stylish, functional and well made.

Exactly what I was looking for

This is a great bin! I don t know if it s because I m getting old or getting boring but I really like it.

Sexy bin, needs rubber edging underneath to stop it from sliding.

Sexy bin - streamline, classy and a perfect colour match to our dark navy kitchen. I thought the Songmics manufacturer's name was engrained in the metal on the front of the bin, but it's actually a sticky label so, even better, you can remove it for a more streamline look. Brilliant. EDIT: Reviews are right in mentioning that the bin slides across a wood/laminate floor. I solved this minor irritation by putting strips of rubber (which fit 3mm edges) on the four corners of the underneath of the bin. The rubber cost £6 from Amazon and works a treat. Worth it for a bin of this quality - a minor flaw solved.👌

Nice looking bin

Good size, looks good, effective soft close. Only issue I have is that when pressing on the pedal nothing happens and then lid jumps up quite forcefully. More of an issue for me as have near a top and as it moves under it with use it bangs into its underside.

Songmics Trashcan

This is a nice simple design. The size 13 gallon bag fits the inner chamber not the outer shell. This keeps the bag from falling down into the receptacle. We like it!👍🏼

Worth The Money!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It closes slowly and Has a removal basket so that I can fit the garbage bag easily. Very nice to look at with a simple, modern vibe. This is a Quality garbage can, hands down. Very happy with my purchase.
