My mom needed a larger trash for the bathroom that as enclosed and touchless wither her current health issues. This was a perfect fit for the area she had.

Did not come on at all plugged or with batteries.

This really is the only way to go with trash! Hand's free is a big deal. Not having to touch the container means the container stays clean. I love this thing. A friend had one and I had to have one too. Couldn't decide on the right size - this shorter one, or the taller one. Decided on the shorter as I'm only one person and it's a small kitchen. It was the right decision. Bigger family, more trash, then the taller container would be better. Took me a little bit of time to figure out installation of the charcoal odor pack but it really works. An onion or other high-odor foods can sit in there for a day or two if need be. Completely satisfied with this product.

Does not work

I purchased this because of the Touchless Sensor. Does NOT work. Cannot return as I used it while I was trying all methods to get it to work.

Works as expected

The electronic lid works well and it is spacious in spite of it only being 8 gallons.
