This the second one I bought. Both leaked at elbow. I tried Teflon tape and pipe dope. I even replaced the elbow and it still leaked under a pressured teat. Bought one from their competitor today and NO leaks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

Half the thickness of my old one, and an internal seam that is silly thin. Quality of threads cut was marginal. Finish was ok. Like many other things, the quality and integrity of the unit rides close to the region of acceptable for maximization of profit.

The old one has been there for 20 years, might could have made a couple of more, but what the heck, easy-off and easy-on. Done in 10 minutes...yeah I'm a little slow and lazy, but I'm retired and don't get in a rush for anybody!

[Rewarded Review] Shower Arm Extension

My builder put only a 4 or 6 inch shower arm and the shower insert protruded from the wall so that a shower caddy would not be level vertical. I removed the existing shower arm and replaced with this 8 inch shower arm and problem solved. I did it in another shower/tub that had the same issue. See pictures of finished product at both locations. Had to get a pipe wrench to remove the old one and used thread tape to ensure no leaks inside the wall.
