Beautiful train shower head from Kohler! Looks beautiful, but haven't installed yet!

Terrific Rainwater Showerhead

Gives a nice rainwater shower. Water stays in center of the shower and doesn't splash around as our old wall mounted shower head previously did. American made. Very sturdy, solid construction. Weighs approx 3 lbs. Mounted on a horizontal matching pipe coming from the side wall that turns down 3-4" to place the shower directly over your head. Plus we got wonderful help from the staff at our local Ferguson showroom. They made sure everything we ordered was just right.

Received a used showerhead!!

This review is of Kohler, not the particular shower head. The shower head seems well made and heavy. I ordered this shower head directly from Kohler's website, upon unboxing I noticed it had oily finger prints all over it! It seems like I received a used or display model. Not what I was expecting from Kohler and obviously not too happy about it. Now I feel like I need to inspect the rest of my order.

Powerful Shower Head

I was very exited to find a wide shower head of very good quality. It has amazing flow of water, quite powerful which is great. However I did not intend to use this as a straight down rain shower head. As I explained to my sales person, I wanted a traditional angled showered. As such the 8" wide shower head set to spray at an angle has a wide spray coming out but the water flow narrows from there going downward. I guess I would recommend as a rain shower head but not to be used as a traditional shower head.

It is a beautiful piece of work. Very well made, great weight and provides a full rain effect shower.

Great water flow, terrible powder coating.

This Koehler shower head gives a nice steady flow of water. The item is made of heavy metal and is sturdy. I would have given it five stars if the powder coated finish wasn’t so delicate. It can easily scratch and for the great expense, I would have liked it to be more durable. Disappointed in the coating.

I have owned this rainhead for almost 3 years now. I am writing this review in response to the first reviewer who states the internals can't be cleaned. This is not correct even though Kohler themselves say it's not serviceable. I am a plumber and bought this for myself. I have take mine apart several times to clean the rubber "diaphragm". The tiny holes do get clogged continually with "gunk" and do need a thorough cleaning (I use white vinegar and water). I called Kohler customer service to order a new rubber diaphragm because I know at some point that will fail. I was told this showerhead is not serviceable and no replacement parts sold. But you can take it apart quite easily (20 or so screws and the main nut). You will be surprised how dirty it gets inside. I wouldn't buy another unless they make them serviceable although I do like the function of it when it's clean. I will attempt to upload photos the next time I take mine apart to clean.

Best Showerhead

I finally bought a Kohler shower head after trying two others from different manufacturers and couldn't be happier! The rainhead style works perfectly in our walk in shower. Every shower feels like I'm in the rainforest and I have a difficult time stepping out of the shower. My showerhead is guaranteed for life. Thank you Kohler.

Check the Parts Before Install...

Kohler is, without a doubt, the best for spa-like shower experiences… but check your parts before installing. Received this $500 rainhead through in-store pickup, new in-sealed box. However, upon inspection, the matte black finish had unremovable smudges all over the beautiful surface finish and a random nozzle in an off-color. Super bummed! Will return and exchange for an identical Kohler rainhead… but, come on Kohler! Improve your quality inspection! $500 for a fixture… it should be pristine! Will buy Kohler again, but always inspect before installing!

Nice looking profile and appearance has quality feel to it. Actually has heavyweight to it. Looks and feels like it's a good quality peice.

This is a very nice looking shower head. It is sturdy and has great pulsation water flow.

Nice large rain shower head

I bought this about three months ago and it was so simple to install. It took about three minutes to install. My only criticism is that it is impossible to thoroughly clean the inside of of the shower head where most of the contamination would occur. I hope there is a solution to this, given how expensive they are.
