A value product if temperature and humidity at mu

The product was easy to set up and worked very well right out of the box. Additional info that could help a potential buyer....list the number (10 total) and size (AAA) of batteries on the outside of the box since they are not included. A statement on effective range of the transmission - most likely 100' with as much as 300' in a clear, unobstructed line of site would be nice on the box as well.

Tested humidity with multiple devices and this unit is spot on. I love the alarm feature. The casing is a bit chincy, but over all I am impressed.

A good way to keep track of important temperatures throughout the house, including refrigerators, freezers, basements, attics, crawl spaces, furnace rooms, baby rooms, garages, sheds, cellars, outside, etc. Allows keeping track of up to 9 areas, and setting hi & lo temperature and humidity alarm points for 4 of them. I have the main unit right by my bed, so I know the current temperature and humidity in different areas of my home when I wake up and at other times.

Is it accurate?

The only fault that I find with this product is that we actually have two of these, identical, and they report a four degree difference in the outside temperature, even though the sensors are right next to each other. How does that happen?

Great way to monitor temperatures upstairs, main floor, basement, and outside! I don't particularly care about the humidity other than in the living space of the basement, but I'd rather have too much info than not enough. The display is great: Love to instantly check all temperatures without having to change the channel or even press a button. Has a pull-out stand, so it sits in a visible position. I bought it to replace a Taylor digital remote thermometer that I really liked for 15+ years. This one was a good replacement!

Easy to read numbers, although a built in light would be nice. Good reception between floors to the device. Reads both humidity and temperature. Recommended.
