Beautiful Fan

This fan was a breeze to build! I have only purchased Hunter fans. I was stuck with the mentality they were the best.. they have gone downhill in quality. After returning them I purchased a Glenmeadow 84” LED Ceiling Fan. Everything from unboxing to building and installation this fan was phenomenal in every one of these aspects! The build was a pleasure! No wobble, pushes an incredible amount of air on its lowest setting! I would have given it a 5 star review if it hadn’t been for the LED light burning out! I figured I had other ceiling lights in this room.. I’m going to replace it..I miss the light it emitted along with the multiple levels it has..

Outstanding DC ceiling fan that is whisper quiet and really pushes the air. This is my second purchase of the Home Decorators Collection Glenmeadow 84 in. The first was installed in my 12’ ceiling family room and the second installed in my son’s home which has an 18’ ceiling. Installation was easy with plenty of wire length for our 24” and 48” down rods. Remember, these are DC fans which use very little electricity, but start up is a little “jerky” which is normal for DC fans. The air movement (CFM), value, ease of installation, quality, and quietness is simply outstanding.

A very stable spin and quite running fan the rest of it is made of good quality material remote control is the way to go I now have 2 fans of the same .

Internal Fan Motor "tapping" Noise

I purchased this fan about two months ago, and within three weeks, it started making a tapping sound that graduated with fan speed. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the fan blade housing (holding the blades) is not even and rubbing against an internal part. I will return to the fan; the manufacturer will not compensate for installation or replacement labor costs. Consider another product.

Really nice fan

So far so good, I’ve had the fan for about 3 months now and can’t really complain except that it wobbles a little, I’m not sure if its because its hanging from a 4ft downrod or just needs to be balanced better from the manufacturer. Other than that, it blows a lot of air and looks nice.

I love it. I wish the lamp could have been a 6500k and the bolts/screws had more detent for proper tightening. Other than that. It looks and works perfect. ??

Motor did not work, returned the day after purchasing.

This fan is an excellent value.

I have the same fan, but in 72” & I love it. I bought the 84.” because it says it does 3000 more FPM. From what I can tell from my own testing it does not the 72” has much better airflow Also, the light button on the remote does not properly work. & I have to press it multiple times to get it to keep the light on or to turn it off.

I bought this fan because it has a rating of a little over 4 stars. However, the fan that I received and installed by a Home Depot pro had wobbling issues, which continued even after installing the balancing kit and replacing a couple of brackets. I am very disappointed with this fan.

They are the best ceiling fan I’ve ever had. It’s unbelievable how well balanced! Not even a wobble. Absolutely the smoothest running at any speed. It ran so smooth I immediately got online and purchased another.

Refreshing Air

This is my largest ceiling fan I purchased from Home Depot. I needed it for my living room which previously had a 54”, 60”, 70” and now this 82” fan. I finally got the relief I needed for this room in my house. The installation was as easy as my previous fans were. My kitchen, dining room and living room are all the Home Decorators ceiling fan series and all have the same features. The temperature outside right now is 87 degrees and very refreshing in my living room as I write this review.

Silent breeze

Silently moves massive amounts of air. Balance was off out of the box but HD shipped a new bracket and balancing kit immediately. Completely wobble free now.

For the handle remote there is no bracket to hold onto the wall. It looks like a TV remote at least this one does and the fan doesn't look like the rest of my other ones which are also 84 inches overall the lights are cool and it moves a lot of air, which I am really happy with.

scraping noise

Took around hour and half to install. However the fan blades are scrapping upper canopy. Poor quality control, look like i need to revert the installation and return it back.

Love this fan. We already own 3 of them with one inside and two on patio. Really can circulate the air or not.

1st fan made a grinding noise and squeaking noise and...

1st fan made a grinding noise and squeaking noise and was clearly out of balance. Returned for another. Second fan isnt out of balance but makes a squeaking noise off and on and an intermittent scrape noise. Im not going to bother taking this one down to exchange again. Would get 4 stars if not for this obvious quality control issues with home decorations fans. ( Not the only style of this brand i have had issues with). Would not recommend

It looks great,but…

The builder who built the six garden homes on my block bought these for every house. 5/6 of us have a lot of aggravation with this fan. It will just turn off, the light will randomly turn on, you turn it off & it’s back on in 30 seconds. It’d be nice if you can just turn it on 3 speeds, light on or off. But no it’s got 9 speeds, a remote control only operation, a light with its own brain apparently, & a breeze function that’s useless. As I said it looks great, when it’s on it will move a lot of air.
