I needed a good pan to cook trout in. Compared this pan to other pans made for backpacking to alpine trout lakes in the national forest, and weight wise this was the best to hold a fresh filet and evenly heat. Long handle makes it a little cumbersome. But, that should make it useful for defense if a bear wants in the tent. Fresh caught trout, asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Who says you have to rough it in the woods.

Although it is marketed as a pan for crepes, we use it for pancakes. It is the perfect size for them! Once properly seasoned, it is virtually nonstick. It conducts heat and holds heat very well and the quality is definitely very apparent.

Great preheating for the perfect crepe

Returning from France I was craving crepes and found this crepe pan. It is the perfect size, heats evenly, and is easy to clean. Love having an easy way to make crepes! I am writing this review as part of a contest.

Makes paper thin crepes SO easily!!

I just switched over from using a normal frying pan to make crepes to this crepe pan and im never going back! It's so much easier to make consistently perfect crepes with this pan. The pan itself is really lightweight and easy to store but still feels really durable. It would also be a great pan for making omelets or frittas, the possibilities are really endless. I'm tell all the crepe lovers in my life about this pan!

These pans are great! They are heavy and do their job well. The only issue was the first use, they have a plastic coating on them that you have to scrub off before using them.

This pan is amazing for crepe making. It heats quickly and evenly and makes perfect crepes easy to make. I find that crepes do not stick either.

I purchased 2 of these and they both came with a sticky glue around the edge of the pan and handle. I couldn't get it off. It has to be a manufacturer defect. Thank you to webstaurant customer service I received a credit. I will try again and hope for the best. I like the pans. I just feel bad cooking over glue. They will be discarded.

Amazing quality carbon steel pan from Matfer. The thick steel heats evenly and retains heat very well. Like all carbon steel, the pan must be seasoned and cared for appropriately, but the non-stick nature of seasoned carbon steel can not be beat. This pan is great for crepes, pancakes, fried eggs, or griddling toast or cheese sandwiches.

This pan works fairly well, but I think it will take a while for it to become really non stick. The handle is welded, not riveted on. I hope it holds up.

Outstanding crepe pan. Works great. Cooks them up really well and is incredibly easy to clean. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a crepe pan.

This is a nice sturdy pan. The reason I am only giving it 3 stars is because it was scratched and the glaze wasn't consistent. Other than that, it is a good crepe pan.
