The bed is beautiful and sturdy. The edges of the platform do stick out a bit, so be careful with your shins!

I did not think you could buy solid wood furniture of this quality anymore. It is beautiful. You will not be disappointed.
Solid wood. The headboard alone is 220 lbs but extremely easy to put together. I had to wait an extra four months to receive mine due to my first one was damaged in shipping by a forklift but it was absolutely worth it. You will not be disappointed. oh the real color is a walnut color not the reddish color in the picture.
So heavy and sturdy. Its very pretty in person and a solid piece of wood. I would recommend!
The bed is beautiful but please be aware that the bed frame is a very very heavy piece and you will need some help moving it. We hired a local company to carry it upstairs and assemble it because my husband and I just couldn’t lift it.
Fabulous bed - worth every cent!
We absolutely love this bed! It is beautifully made, goes together easily, and is build to last. It is a great height if you have a thick mattress. Being solid wood it is also very, very heavy, so plan ahead before moving it. The headboard has some hourglass shaped wood joins, which I think look nice but they are difficult to see in the pictures. Overall very happy with this purchase.
