Do not buy! This cutting board has soft wood which came off when I was cutting meat.

This is the second time that I was sent an 18 inch cutting board when you are advertising a 21 inch cutting board. Super frustrating!!!

Solid, high quality board. Has some heft but not too heavy. Works well with a high end Japanese chef's knife I have.
