Gorgeous

Absolutely gorgeous—who knew a cutting board could be so pretty? Especially with our initials engraved...

Disappointment

As soon as I opened the box I was really disappointed. I had very high expectations. The cutting board should be packaged to please the recipient and packaged like a luxury product... They wrap it in plastic wrap as if it came from the factory, and the oil is sent in a box with the tube cap broken... This is my first transaction. It's like this. . Do you provide hospitality to your guests? I feel bad. I don't feel well. I don't really like wooden cutting boards. It would be better to order from Korea. It really compares.

Functional cutting board

This is a good, thick cutting board, so it does not slide around on the counter. The side handles make it easy to pick up off the counter.

Cutting board

The cutting board was not the right size but dealing with their customer service was worst. They were rude both times and accused me of not looking carefully at product description. I was surcharged extra for this product but wasn’t informed until the payment was going thru and no way to stop it. When I brought this up the lady on the phone basically called me a liar. I was refunded for the cutting board but they still charged me for the very expensive shipment which was around $40 dollars for this cutting board. For being such a big company I’m still taken back by how they address their customers. I saw their better business bureau had a F rating and I read some of their complaints and it was mostly about their customer service. You can get the same product somewhere else and not deal with their lack of professionalism. Will not be purchasing their products again.

Exactly the board we needed

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day. It perfectly fits our desire for a hearty, quality board and the walnut color complements our kitchen. It’s been a great gift for him and for our home.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a quality cutting board, but something that was easy to store and didn’t have to sit on the counter. This was perfect.

Perfect

This cutting board is beautiful! I wanted a larger size and this is perfect. The only negative is the board slid on my counter surface. I purchased small silicone pads for the underside. Solved the problem. Highly recommend this BOOS board.

Happy, but be aware...

Heavy, beautiful wood. Wash and dry well before use! Arrived dinged so exchanged. Shipping Dept VERY CARELESS. Didn't enter my return into computer; I had to follow up. Boyh sent w lack of padding!

Best cutting board ever! Totally worth the money.

I was gifted a Boos cutting board many years ago and it still looks and functions like it’s brand new. Now, I make a point of giving them as shower gifts to my special people!

received a warped cutting board

I am not sure if Boos has changed where they make their products, but I opened my cutting board, prepped it with Boos cream flipped it over to use it for the holidays and it jumps up and down. Noticed the corner flares up, it does not lie flat. Now what?

Beautiful, quality piece that will last for years.

Excellent quality, beautiful color. It's rather large but you can use the space to cut multiple items without having to migrate everything to a bowl first. Just make sure you have a food scoop available.

Worth Every Dime

Almost too beautiful to use!!! I was really impressed with this board when it arrived. It makes a statement in my kitchen and I'm looking forward to using it . It's sitting on my stove, looking good .

Gorgeous Board

Purchased as a gift after considering many options. My son absolutely loves it. He immediately oiled and waxed the board and the color is beautiful. It is large but still fits in a cabinet when not in use. He will enjoy this board for many years to come.

Warped, poorly sanded, disappointment

I have carefully followed the directions for this cutting board's care. But - it is rough all over. I have used appropriate oil on it at appropriate intervals but it is rough again after two days.

Handsome and practical

More than pleased with the look and the quality of this Boos cutting board. Cut from a single board, the grain is beautiful. The “rustic” edge is not too rustic at all - I was worried that it might be. The 12 x 17 size is just right, not too large; a great weight so it doesn’t shift when in use, it’s not too heavy to move around or stow away. A quality kitchen tool from a manufacturer that is the standard in the business.

Warped!

Let me preface by saying I am meticulous in caring for my board. I have owned many boards and this is by far the worst. It was warped right out of the box and the quality of the sanding was poor. The pandemic has caused many people (myself included) to absorb the loss just not to go through the hassle of a return. Very disappointed.

Wow!

Seriously awesome cutting board. It is way to awesome to b relegated to a cabinet. It sits out proudly on the island and people have a fit over it. The meat juice groove is serious, no need to sop up raw chicken juice running off like on other cutting boards. Other cutting boards may be a lot less expensive but this is the kind of cutting board your kids will fight over when u r gone. Im a die hard BooBoard fan now!

Beware of splinters!

My wife bought this cutting board for me as an upgrade to a smaller Boos board that I have had since 1998. Overall, I like this board, especially the look of the dark walnut. That said, I have been disappointed with the rough (and somewhat uneven) surface of the board, which has resulted in some tiny splinters in my hands after sliding them across the surface during normal use. At first, I thought the surfaces would smooth out with some use and periodic scrubbing and treating with mineral oil. Alas, after 6 or 7 months without noticeable improvement, I may have to use some fine sand paper. Ugh.

Beautiful Cutting Board

Not only is it a stylish cutting board, the darker grain also hides the messy look of a blonde/walnut cutting board when cutting meats, etc. This board looks great on darker quartz and granite countertops and also a provides great contrast to lighter colored countertops as well. Well Made, long lasting... Boos Board, simply the best!

Love it!

I love the large size! I have a small condo kitchen so counter space is a premium. The size still works with limited counter space as I can pile up cut up veggies on a side of the board or use small bowls on it. I use this for Blue Apron meals which require a lot of chopping. I also use it as a large meat and cheese board or serving platter. Does take a little TLC to ensure it stays well conditioned and doesn't dry out. But so easy to wipe down with mineral oil/cream after using for the night. As the other user noted, it's hefty so keep that in mind if you plan on moving it around. As with my other cutting boards, I use a small dish towel on my granite countertop to ensure it doesn't slip around when cutting.
