I use this on my counter for fresh bakery items and dinner rolls. Good for about a week in it. Washes up great. Lid fits very snug in its track.

I have been using this sturdy display quite regularly. It's extremely practical and appealing for storing and displaying baked goods, plus the wooden base is a wonderful vehicle for a small charcuterie board. Awesome investment!

Imperfections

The glass doesn't fit seamlessly into the wood, and the wood has some visible imperfections. Unfortunately, since I've discarded the box, returning it isn't an option. Looks like I'll be holding onto it.

Looks great! I was surprised at how less it weighed compared to my old cake stand's glass lid. The carved out handholds on the bottom makes it easy to move around. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light but beautiful piece to hold baked goods.

Love this item and it has been a great purchase for my kitchen when I fix muffins and donuts for the kids to stay fresh.

The perfect cake stand. Love the groove to keep the glass dome from sliding. I cut parchment paper to put over the wood each time I bake, as I don’t want to warp or distort the wood. Plus it’s just beautiful!

Not a tight seal

Looks nice but the lid does not fit tightly and fruit flies go right under it to get to my bread and baked goods. I got this to keep my sourdough bread fresh, but it’s not going to work for that.

This is beautiful and functions perfectly for my needs. I purchased it to house by freshly baked sourdough and it's lovely.

Excellent quality! I’ve had it for years and use it for fresh baked goods daily with  seasonal paper doily to protect the wood. It’s fabulous.

Once you bake bread, a cake or otherwise, you need a means to preserve and display your work. Libbey has nailed this need for any creation that fits within an envelope of L/Ø 9 x H 5 inch. Simple is sublime. Glass dome cleans easily and imparts no fumes. Wood base serves as cutting board. Grooved top surface keeps glass dome in place when moving. I love it! I live in a house filled with cookie monsters. I sometimes like to sit cookies out for friends. The dome is taller than most, so it works well with taller cakes. The glass is pretty thick. The plate has cut out handles underneath. That’s a very nice feature. It’s a very nice addition to my kitchen. It arrived in a couple of days. It was in perfect condition.

Well worth the price

This is a big beautiful piece with gorgeous wood and thick glass. Makes a nice seal for donuts and pastries. Large enough for a cake.
