Good product but packaging and handling is poor

I would like to rate this but after the 3rd delivery, I am still unable to put it in. The first two orders were damaged and on the third delivery I only received the base (not damaged this time) but not the walls. Unsure how a company can function this way and will not be using Home Depot any more

The first time I ordered it it came in without the sidewalls so they reordered it. And when it came in it was damaged. After that I asked for a refund.

Sterling Accord 4 piece shower kit

Ordered the 1st tub which took 4 weeks to get. When I opened the box it was cracked. Had to bring back the shower back to the store. Ordered a 2nd shower kit and that took over 3 weeks to get. Open that box and it was cracked in 2 places. I then had to haul that shower back to Lowe’s. I have now been without a shower for 2 months.

Defects

I bought this product because I liked the design and had seen an install in a friend's home that looked quite nice I thought this would be better quality than most of the 3-wall panels + shower pan products in this category.

This is perfect for us as we age in place. The only change I would make is make it easier for grab bars. We have only been using it for a couple days, but we really like it.

Ordered two handicap showers and both were delivered broken. Will not buy from Home Depot again if this is the way your merchandise is handled during delivery.

We should have known better.

Lesson learned...open the delivery before the truck leaves. The box was damaged and the first piece removed was the back wall which had numerous cracks, breaks, and pieces totally broken off. Installing would have resulted in leaks. We ordered through the store, not online, and was told that the entire shipment needed to be re-boxed and returned. The store would reorder the item. This issue seems to be a general theme in the one star review. Fortunately, it should be delivered before my plumber scheduled us to start the demo. Pros: Home Depot will reorder without an additional charge. Con: I am expected to re-box the item in a destroyed box. Unsure if delivery company will take the item back.

Easy Install

This shower was a Great change for us. We replaced a jetted tub and had no trouble with installing . Follow the provided instructions and install is a breeze. Quality material not a flimsy cheap shower like some others we looked at. Have no regrets and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality shower.

First shipment had a damaged back wall. Had to return whole unit, could not get just new damaged part. New unit had missing mounting hardware. Also edges had to be trimmed to fit. Poor quality assurance in my opinion.

Some good, some bad

One of the pluses is the amount of room in this unit. It's pretty much 2 inches wider than most and that extra 2 inches does make a difference. There are a sufficient number of shelves, however, none of them have a lip to help keep items, such as a bar of soap from sliding off. There is also no washcloth hanging bar.

Some issues

Unfortunately, my shower came with a few cracks on the wall units. I had my contractor there so I could not be without a shower to wait for a new one. Disappointed in the white color. I bit dingy and it does not match my white tile and vanity, toilet, walls. All in all I do like the removable seat. Was a bit difficult to snap the walls into place.

Came with the house and is IMPOSSIBLE to clean

I can’t wait to tear this out of the house we bought. It’s impossible to clean. No matter what cleaner or scrub/sponge/etc. we use, it still looks dingy and dirty.

High Quality and Strength

This shower stall setup is very sturdy, I was expecting something a bit thinner and flexible but was pleasantly surprised at the strength and quality of the base and walls. It is definitely a 2-man lift and installation job.
