Cheaply made chipboard.

Absolutley horrible. Cheaply made chipboard, certainly not worth $230. Came with the top drawer broken and even though the top was ok, the cabinet section was out of stock so we had to return the whole thing. Now we have no desk.

really like this desk, the assembly is super simple but the cabinet did come with some damages because it is shipped assembled. i would rather put it together myself and not have any damages than to have to return the desk or get a discount from overstock because of them.

Style is clean and good looking. The only 2 minor issues are (1) The 3 drawers do not pull out far enough. There is at least 3-4 more inches to pull out from underneath. Thereby, items that are stored in the back of the drawers are more difficult to access. (2) The bottom risers for the desk are quite thin/short. I have this desk in a carpeted bedroom, so the bottom most drawer is very difficult to pull out/does not pull out smoothly. I had to buy furniture risers in order to raise the desk a few inches off the floor to fix the issue (which kind of ruined the aesthetic of the desk) Otherwise, this is a solid desk. I read a review that mentioned this desk is on the shorter side; personally I think this desk is at a standard height for the average female.

Bad quality and mis information on description

This came damaged and not packed well. The description claims there is a file cabinet. But its just a big drawer. No rods to use for hanging files.
