Nice Modern Style
Shipping we speedy. The desk did come in a number of pieces... But there are a lot of moving parts to this desk, so that was expected. The two side pieces that fold up have two hinges each on the back and one locking hinge on the side. We did not install the side locking hinge due to the inability to move it in or out. The drawer does not slide easily like a newer kitchen cabinet drawer would with a soft close. But you can grease the slides a bit and make it smoother. We are overall very happy with it. We use it more as a vanity than a writing desk. The side compartments hold my hair dryer, curling irons, brushes, makeup, etc... The USB and outlets are well placed and easily accessible.
