Disappointed.

I love the adjustability of the tilt. I hate that the top is coated with a textured surface. I need to strip and recover to use as a proper drafting table to avoid texture coming through on my drawings.

Textured top is a no-go for artists.

I am a professional artist. I love the ease of adjusting tilt. Height requires two people to manage. Problem that makes this able almost unusable is that the table top itself is textured. As an artist, I need a completely smooth surface ro work on. I will be keeping the table but covering the top with Masonite. Very diassapointed that such an oversite exists with this product.

Good value but a pain to adjust

Sturdy and good value for the price. Wish that the adjustment mechanism for the angle of the desk surface wasn't such a pain. There's no way to put it back down without really messing with the mechanism a whole bunch. No handle or tab or anything. You have to stick your fingers inside the track to get it to unhook.

A good value

It is a sturdy and easily adjusted desk. The lip at the base of the table that keeps the paper from slipping is nicely unobtrusive so that your arms can rest easily on the table surface. It is a good value.

Great table at a great price

A slide out drawer and a lower edge ledge would be helpful, but other than that this is a great table at a great price.

Nice table. Affordable and attractive, the table arrived on time as well.

The table is for art projects, it is comfortable for me to work with the drafting tilt type table for artwork. The only fault I would make with the table is there is no bottom lip (where the oddly angled pencil tray is) on the table. It would be nice to put a canvas or drawing pad on the table without it ending on the floor. A moveable edge would be even better. The table still gets a 4 star rating from me. It is strong, attractive, and affordable.

Excellent quality for the price

Relatively easy to assemble, took about 45 minutes. The construction feels pretty solid for the price. Note: the drafting table can also be used to display large books by inverting the installation of pencil holder.

Great Desk with a Serious Flaw

Now that most of my work is done on a computer, I wanted to downsize my drafting desk to something smaller. This desk is very nice, is well constructed, and everything I need. The only thing that puzzles me is why an important stress-point (where the desktop pivots) is using plastic hinges when everything else is metal. It makes no sense. And because the fit is so tight, the hinges are already stressed, so surely they won't last long. Why they'd take such a perfect desk and throw it all away on plastic hinges is something I can't figure out. I'd gladly have spent the extra dollar it costs to have a desk that's going to last. I think most people would.

There is a reason it is inexpensive. Traditional cheap Chinese construction. I did not realize it was made in China until I received the box. would be better to spend more and obtain something made in the USA.

The desk is very sturdy

The desk is very sturdy and looks great. Assembly would have been a snap if it wasn't for two holes that were not in the proper place on the right leg on the inner side. To correct this problem, drill through the outer holes and everything will proplerly align. Its too bad this was not caught in the mfg process.

Solid Desk, Great Price

Quality product at a great price! It is not easy to adjust up and down (but doable). But for the price, you won’t find a better desk.
