Avoid!
Assembled the lamp according to the instructions. Lamp did not work. The culprit is the "Smart Switch" touch control as this is the Second Adesso lamp where the switch has failed. This lamp was DOA. The other Adesso lamp failed after three weeks but operated fewer than 10 times. Adesso has no replacement for the "Smart Switch" and the lamp(s) is/are useless. Thankfully, Lumens has replaced both lamps no charge but I am more than apprehensive about using them. And there is the issue with disposing both dead lamps.
Love this lamp!
We are very pleased with this lamp--excellent quality, elegantly minimalist, adds interest to the room as a sculpture that serves our lamp needs perfectly.
