Great Shelf, Easy Assembly

I was looking for a 40 inch wide shelf and this one did the trick. All the other ones were other sizes.

Heavy Duty NOT

The boards are a 1/2 flimsy partical board. Would not recommend this shelf. I'm not even gonna waste time sending it back. I'll improvise.

Badly packaged and damaged in transit to store . Kings Rack customer service has been wonderful trying to provide replacement

Vendor did not deliver

We ordered these shelves in July and we have not received as of October 27th. Contact has been made to vendor by Lowe's, but no response as of yet.

Have set it up several weeks ago. Took a 71 year old woman about 3 hours to set up by herself. Pretty simple and easy to do. Works perfectly and alllows lots of flexibility on what shelf heights I want to use.

A goos sturdy unit

A good sturdy shelf unit. I have about 20 similar units so I am familiar with the construction. The toughest thing is getting the corner posts connected. Only 1 brand supplies a great connector but it eliminates a middle shelf.

Easy to Assemble

This is our 3rd shelving unit by King's Rack. We've had the first 2 for about a year and we needed another for additional storage. They were all easy to assemble. You can choose the height of each shelf and the shelves have a white or brown side to choose from. Comes with a small mallet so no additional tools are needed.

We now own 4 King Racks. These we bought in July 24. We love them. Other units are getting some age on them but the are in X-shape.

Very sturdy

Shelving is heavy, sturdy, and looks nice. It holds more than expected. It does take some strength to put together(does come with just right size hammer), but well worth it.

Very sturdy, easy to assemble and look great

I was expecting this to be more heavy duty, but it works for me.

Good value

Fit nicely into my craft area. Came with a rubber mallet, which was greatly appreciated. A couple shelves had minor blemishes but they're not really visible from a distance.

This has become one of my favorite working racks. The shelving support for the boards is top notch, however if someone is high on aesthetics they may have issues with the edges of the boards being chipped, scuffed, and or generally mildly damaged due to the packaging not being padded for the wooden boards. However for me personally this is a non issue, as when you place the boards into the braces this is impossible to see. And so long as the boards remain solid and strong, there's no real reason to dock points.

Good once assembled

Unit was easy to assemble and seems overall sturdy. No screws, it is all held together through slots. They include a, hilariously vibrant, rubber hammer for use. I used my larger mallet when hammering the anchor points. Taking one star off because the particle board shelves chipped in the corners while I was assembling.

Great for our space:)

We are enjoying our shelf! It was easy to assemble and strong for our storage. The only issue was the plastic bumpers that go on the bottom of the rods to keep from scratching the ground. One broke while we were installing it.

The materials are sturdy enough to complete the project we had in mind without the need for any tools or extra purchases. We were pleased with the ability to switch the shelf boards between the wood look and white. That was an option that I don't think was readily pointed out on the description included in the web.

Every single board is damaged at the corner!

Need to think about packaging!! There was no protection at edge of box!! Plus it took forever to get here! All on one side the edge of board is broken. I am really unhappy. Plus its a heavy box to return!!!!!

King's rack

I'm not happy about it being delivered a day later than originally scheduled! This is super heavy, I had people lined up on Thursday to move it downstairs, not Friday. Plus, who ever delivered it, didn't even ring the doorbell as usual! I was sick trying to slide this thing into my house with a walking boot om!.I just had a bone fused in my foot a month ago..Rack is nice but I am not happy how it got here!!
