Normalerweise verwende ich eigentlich keine Schreibtischlampen, weil ich bisher keine gefunden hatte, die meinen recht breiten Schreibtisch gleichmäßig auszuleuchten. Eins kann ich schon mal sagen: Das schafft die Honeywell auch nicht, trotzdem hat sie mich überzeugen können.Die Lampe kommt zusammengeklappt in einer unauffälligen Verpackung mitsamt Netzteil und Anleitung. Auffalten ist kein Problem, dafür braucht man keine Anleitung. Und ehrlich gesagt auch für den Rest nicht, da meiner Meinung nach alles selbsterklärend ist: Einschalten, Arbeitsmodus, Farbtemperatur, Timer und der Schieberegler, der die Helligkeit steuert. Nur wenn man dann genauer wissen will, was denn der Arbeitsmodus überhaupt sein soll, muss man dann doch die Anleitung konsultieren. Oder man liest folgenden Text: Die Leuchttemperatur wird auf 4000K eingestellt. Gern geschehen.Was ich praktisch finde: Der Kopf der Lampe kann quasi in alle Richtungen leuchten, die man sich vorstellen kann. Und wenn man die Lampe gerade nicht benutzen will, kann sie einfach zusammengeklappt werden.Nutzlos dagegen finde ich den USB-Port. Hat man nicht gerade einen Uraltknochen, den man daran laden möchte, sind die 10W für jedes moderne Smartphone einfach zu wenig. Und für meine PC-Peripherien, die ebenfalls einen Akku besitzen, habe ich elegantere Möglichkeiten sie aufzuladen, als über eine Schreibtischlampe, dessen Ladekabel unschön an der linken Seite reinzustecken sind und die aufgeräumte Optik meines Schreibtischs stört.Ansonsten bin ich mit der Helligkeit, den möglichen Farbtemperaturen und dem CRI-Wert von 94 durchweg zufrieden. Der Faltmechanismus der Lampe macht Spaß und wenn sie nicht gebraucht wird, nimmt sie auf meinem Schreibtisch kaum Platz weg.

This is a stylish, slim-style desk lamp. It looks great.One thing I especially like is that it has a proper wall plug! Most of the alternatives don't even bother to give you an adapter, let alone a real conventional wall plug. Big plus.The lamp itself is well made and durable. You can easily adjust the color temperature as well as the brightness.Another big plus for this lamp is that it has FULL SPECTRUM output, which is much better for the eyes and for seeing colors accurately.Recommended.

Lovely design - shame about the power source required adapter for Aust use

I really like the design of this lamp and the quality of the build. A shame I was not aware of the euro wall plug for power source only (I did wonder when I saw it was an import). Sorted with an adapter. Too early to know or speak of the longevity of the lamp but so far so good. A nice bright light.

Its everything I was looking for in a light and more

I am really enjoying this Honeywell desk lamp with its 48 full-spectrum of lighting. It is dimmable and has 2700-5700K modes and can be adjusted from 10% to 100%. I find is handy when I only need a nightlight effect to a brightness for when I'm working. Equipped with USB A and C rechargeable ports, you can easily recharge your devices and it includes an adapter.It features a 90 ° rotation to the left and right, 136 ° folding up and down and 90 ° folding of the base. Easy to manipulate, with a slide of your finger you are able to dim up or dim down the brightness. When using it as a night light, there is a 30-minute timer you can utilize that will automatically turn the light off.I like that it is fully adjustable, I can place it right where I need it. With its four-color temperature setting, it is easily to set for the right ambience that is needed.It's built to last and provides enough light that is both pleasing and dependable for everything that I need in a light. Nice LED lamp

This LED desk lamp is compact and takes up very little space on my table. I like that I can fold it down and move it behind my monitors when its not in use, so it is out of the way. The light has four color modes, and the dimming feature lets me control the light intensity, so its never too glaring under any lighting conditions. At the brightest setting, the light is quite bright and definitely enough for my needs. The touch control panel is intuitive and responsive making it very easy to use. The built-in USB charging port is convenient to use with my chargers. Because it is LED, the light is also power saving. I haven't really gotten around to using the auto timer feature yet, but it could come in handy. The black finish complements almost any home office. My only gripe is the size of the plug. Its quite large and takes up more than one outlet if not placed at the edge. I recommend this product.

Nach oben geht nicht, als Deckenfluter kann man die Lampe also nicht umfunktionieren.Etwas unüblich ist, dass die Stromversorgung durch ein altbackenes Steckernetzteil erfolgt. Mein Samsung Galaxy S21 FE lässt sich am USB-C-Ausgang im Fast Charging Modus aufladen.Für den Preis ist die Lampe sehr empfehlenswert.

Good adjustable desk lamp

I'm pleased with this Honeywell LED desk lamp, in fact I keep swapping this from my living room computer desk, to my bedside table.This lamp is powered with the supplied mains adaptor. and plugs into a round port on the back edge of the base. All the controls are touch sensitive, and these control power on/off, white colour temperature, brightness and a timer. This lamp 24W LEDs can provide decent illumination, and its useful being able to adjust the white colour temperature.The desk lamp feels well made, and is very stable even when the LED light strip is pulled well forward. The lamp is constructed mainly with plastic and some aluminium, and the pivot points look and feel strong, and hold the lamp in any position securely. The lamp head can also be swivelled 90 degrees either direction.There are two USB output charging ports, a USB A and a more up to date USB C port. These will not charge any devices at speed, but could be ok for overnight phone charging. It really is a shame this lamp isn't powered via a USB socket, as then it could also be powered using a power bank. I know there are other brands that work this way.Overall, I think this is a good adjustable desk lamp. Good brand with a 2-year limited warranty. Shame it's not USB powered.I hope you find my review useful and helpful.

VERSATILE and MODERN desk lamp! If you need to upgrade, this is it + caveats.

The current desk lamp that I have is the one of the old fluorescent lamps with a single switch. It does one thing and one thing only - luminates the area. However, seeing as mine flickers more than it stays on, I knew I needed one of the newer LED models. When I got the opportunity to review Honeywell's version of it, I thought it was perfect timing. I'm happy to report back that this HWT-H2B model had me thoroughly impressed.Here are some things I liked, and some I didn't:==[PROS]==• While this LED lamp is certainly taller than my current fluorescent desk lamp, I have to say it's rather a straightforward unit. There are no separate design or feature that is unnecessary, and it makes for a clean look that would fit in anywhere.• The variety in adjustability is impressive. Not only are you able to tilt the lamp "head" towards or away from you (which is standard), but you can also adjust the whole "head" to tilt up/down and the "torso" to stay upright or flat. The combination of these adjustments can provide a lot of flexibility for each situation, and it's also nice for when you're packing because it folds up very compact.• What I was impressed by its maximum brightness. At 100%, I found it was thoroughly able to luminate a large area of my workstation. Because the LEDs are located on a longer strip of the lamp "head", it's able to light-up more areas without creating shadows compared to my fluorescent lamp.• Speaking of brightness, the brightness adjustment slider makes it easy for me to not only gradually change the brightness, but I can tap the left of the slider to instantly have it dim if I need it to.• I like the 4 colour options they give you. Unlike other LED lamps that only give you 3, this one has 2700K, 4000K, 5000K, and 5700K for various working conditions and circumstances.• Also unlike some of the other LED lamps on the market, because this puts the adapter (power supply) by the power plug, it makes the base of the lamp itself fairly low-profile and clean in design.==[CONS]==• Unfortunately, this lamp is not perfect. Starting with the aforementioned base - while it is low profile, the base is also super lightweight which means if I'm trying to make any sort of adjustments to the light, the base will lift up and it makes it hard to adjust it with just one hand. I always end up finding myself holding the lamp down by the base to make any adjustments.• Let's talk about the charging. At 5V/2A as stated, this only provides 10W which doesn't even meet the 15W charging standard for PPS "fast charging" let alone the 25W and the 45W standards we use commonly today. This is abysmal, and charges my phone so slowly that it's basically useless to me. I also find that the large flat base of the lamp would've made it perfect to wirelessly charge my devices, but they're missing that also which seems to be an oversight. Simply put, this is a lamp first-and-foremost, and that is ALL that it can really do well.• There is a "working mode" key/button on the base of the lamp, but I'm having a really hard time figuring out what that's for. I know it automatically switches to 4000K in colour temperature, but if you were already on 4000K before you pressed the button, pressing the button seems to do about nothing. The manual didn't really specify what else it does aside from instantly switching your lamp's colour temperature, so this one was a head-scratcher.• Lastly, I was a bit disappointed to learn this wasn't purely designed and made by Honeywell. On the packaging, it shows that this is actually the product of "Huo Ming Technology Guangdong Co., Ltd." which most likely means Honeywell made a deal to advertise someone else's product as their own. This also is the same with the AC adapter (power supply) which is from a company named TEKA. I hope using someone else's product does not mean the longevity will be the thing that suffers as a result.

Amazing value for so much functionality!

This desk lamp provides excellent lighting.There are several joints where the lamp arm can bend or rotate to the side. This allows so much adjustment to get it just how I like it. And then when I want it positioned a different way, it's really easy to change. Instead of dimming in steps like high, medium, low, this dims and brightens on a gradient sliding scale and you can stop anywhere between dimmest and brightest.The controls are laid out well, easy to see, and accessible. It's actually made of plastic, but that didn't even register with me at first because it's so solidly made, not light or flimsy. It powers by plugging into a wall socket, and that's what I wanted. Too many rechargeable devices gets overwhelming, and I'm leaving this desk lamp on my desk so there's not a reason it can't be plugged into a fixed spot.I really love the build quality, the features, and the adjustable design. It's a great value to get all of this for the price.

It's a decent little lamp

It works well and I do like the charge ports on the base. I will say the the actual light gets very warm and happen to know that's LED lights biggest enemy. Time will tell if that's a fatal issue for an otherwise cool little lamp

Ich war beim Auspacken der Lampe von der guten Qualität und der Wertigkeit der Materialien positiv überrascht. Ich hatte mit etwas weniger Qualität gerechnet, da ich die Marke bisher auch gar nicht kannte. Aber einem Freund von mir sagte die Marke sofort etwas. Da ich aber dringend eine neue Schreibtischlampe brauchte, habe ich mich gefreut, diese hier testen zu dürfen. Umso schöner, dass sie mir tatsächlich auch gut gefällt und ich sie gerne auf meinem Schreibtisch stehen habe. Die Lampe hat verschiedene Farbtemperaturen und lässt sich dimmen. Ich bevorzuge immer warmweißes Licht und dieses ist hier wirklich sehr angenehm. Schön ist, dass man den Lampenkopf sowohl nach oben und unten, als auch zur Seite schwenken kann. Die Lampe hat eine gute Höhe.Das Design der Lampe ist gut und funktionell, genauso wie ich es mag. Weniger ist mehr.Das Touch Bedienfeld funktioniert reibungslos. Man muss nur etwas aufpassen, dass nichts auf den Sockel rutscht, dann geht sie von alleine an oder aus.Toll ist auch, dass sie eine 30 Minuten Timer Funktion hat. Ich vergesse gerne mal das Licht aus zu machen. Daher nutze ich diese Option gerne. Hier wäre es noch toll, wenn man die Zeit selbst wählen könnte, aber ich kann auch mit den 30 min gut leben. Da mache ich sie lieber wieder alle 30 min an, als das sie teils die ganze Nacht durch brennt.Ich bin sehr zufrieden und hoffe nun, dass sie mir lange gute Dienste leistet.Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (36 €) ist vollkommen in Ordnung.Volle 5 Sterne von mir.Voll

Solid, practical desk lamp with dual USB ports for accessory charging

This modern-looking desk lamp is a practical and useful option for any home office setup, providing you with a two-in-one functionality by the presence of the USB charging ports to help keep accessories charged up. The fact that it has both a USB A and a USB C is handy, as some modern devices come with USB-C to USB-C cables so you could use the ones they come with rather than having to dig out a USB-A one. The ports are rated at 2A so decent power output, but not going to match the high-speed dedicated chargers that you might have from your device manufacturer.It feels nicely made with some heft to the base. The controls are responsive and easy to operate. The different colour temperature of white is always a worthy inclusion as not everyone likes warm white or ice white, so you get choices depending on your preference and mood, plus the dimmer. There is a timer function which I tend not to use, but again, useful for someone out there no doubt.It foregoes a wireless inductive pad on the base which is something you might find on rival products - which is a slight shame, but overall I am more likely to use the cable for non-inductive accessories, and if my phone really needed a top up I could just use the cable for that too.For a price of c. £26 (at time of review), that's a fair price for a solid, practical offering from a recognised brand.

Really neat lamp and charger combined.

This is a Honeywell branded desk light. It is marked as CE and UKCA compliant (and has a UK regulatory address). It comes with a decent UK 3 pin plug/ power supply.The lamp is lightweight but feels sturdy and well made. It has touch buttons (instead of mechanical) buttons that work well. It is easy to cycle between the different LED colour temperatures and to go from very dim to very bright, meaning it can be used for anything from reading to ambiance. This is a very versatile light: firstly it folds neatly, meaning it can be put in a bag for travelling and, second, it has USB A and USB C sockets so you don''t need a separate charger. It isn't the fastest charger in the world at 7w, but it is more than enough for an overnight phone or powerbank charge. I am really impressed with this because of the build quality and safety compliance, and because of the range of light settings and the integrated charger.

Extremely Functional - Not Aesthetic

I have a significantly more expensive version of this lamp that is very aesthetic, but not nearly as functional. We have a split level home, with the entry leading upstairs to the main living area, and this lamp is on a side table about 6 feet from the steps. This lamp can be bright enough to leave on at night and safely get you up the stairs or dim enough not to cast a reflection on the tv screen. It can adjust vertically to limit the pool of light to just the side table it's on or to illuminate the whole room. If you have an area that you spend a lot of time in that has frequently changing lighting needs, this lamp is ideal. The black plastic housing definitely isn't the most appealing, but you can't beat the function and the price. Very highly recommended.

Damit konnte das Ladegerät vom Schreibtisch verschwinden.Und sie sieht halt auch wirklich stylisch aus.Ein gelungendes Produkt, dem - zumindest ich - einfach nur fünf Sternchen geben kann.
