Good Product
A few people in our office have been using them and they are working great
[Rewarded Review] Sturdy, standard adjustable
This is what I wanted for my desk. It’s a sturdy tray that can be adjusted and attached easily.
worked
not cheap non plastic should last for years recycle steel in future
First class metal product -- don't buy plastic garbage!
This worked perfectly, allowing me to get my keyboard and mouse below my desk at a proper ergonomic setting. The ability to set the keyboard and mouse angle independently (different angles) is particularly useful. The unit is HEAVY, made of good metal (no plastic), with locks that secure the position in place. Non-slip pads on the keyboard tray keep it where you put it, and a self-adhesive 3M mouse pad on the side keeps the mouse in place... just be careful when placing it so it lines up the first time!
Great product
So when I bought this product I thought this product doesn't have a good quality or fixtures. I recorded a video and gave one star review.
Very good and sturdy keyboard tray. No plastic crap.
This is a very good quality keyboard tray. The parts are made with either laminated wood for the shelves and solid steel for the hardware. The only minor was that one of the plastic stoppers, that stops the tray from sliding any further inward, was broken in piece. But I managed to replace the broken part with similar shape and size of cylinder made of nylon (sturdier). The kit is easy to put together and install. Installation might require a second set of hands to hold the assembly in place while someone else is driving the screws into the table/desk/counter.
I really like this keyboard tray
I really like this keyboard tray. I purchased it due to the materials of construction, other similarly priced "ergo keyboard trays" are constructed with fairly flimsy looking plastic trays. It's well built, and very solid when installed. I have noticed a little rocking sensation side to side if you're not careful with how you lock it down (make sure the sides are balanced when you lock it in place or it will have some side to side rock in it).
Exactly as expected and hoped.
Very good scratch resistant powder coat, easy to adjust,, tucks away nicely. Over all impressed, and worth it over the much cheaper clamp on brands.
Great quality keyboard tray for DIY hackers.
I chose this product after seeing the Question & Answers section had a company rep saying it would be possible to cut this product to fit. I only had 12" of space under my desk (an Autonomous.ai standing desk), but the under-rails of all of these trays are 17". I cut the rail to 12", drilled and tapped new holes for the bumpers, and the whole thing installed like a charm. As a result of my modifications, the tray does not completely disappear under the desk, but I would not expect it to after lopping off five inches of rail. Fortunately you can rotate the tray, by rotating it 90 degrees it hides away under the desk when that is necessary, which is not often.
Better than I expected
I had my doubts with this product but because I'm a disabled individual and spend most my day in a recliner in front of my computer, this has given me the extra read needed to pull out and put away my keyboard. It's very sturdy.
It’s pretty good. Satisfied.
My drill died on me before I could complete setting up my desk, so please excuse the wires and mess.
[Rewarded Review] Frustrating
Will not stay up, the slightest pressure tilts it downwards no matter what i do. Probably going to have to get something else
Not great, but not bad for the price.
I found the installation to be straight forward. I used a clamp to hold the piece in place while I marked the holes to be drilled with a pencil. It has 8 anchor points so I'm not worried about it going anywhere and feels well attached. The slide has no bearings and the tray is riding a slot. Due to the lack of bearings it stays put but you do have to give it a little oomph to move it in and out. I had to use some double sided tape to adhere the mouse pad to the mouse tray. My biggest complaint is that the mouse tray has a large connection piece underneath which touches my leg. The entire tray tends to sag to the side where the mouse pad is.
Was a lil hesistant but glad I went for it.
I was a little hesitant due to the mixed reviews but having this priced just right for what I was willing to spend I went ahead. I’m not in the US and had a friend who was willing to bring this as check in baggage, so the possibility of returns for me is zilch. Turned out to be almost perfect for what I needed.
Needs longer track
Compared to the item this is replacing the track is too short, so the keyboard doesn't go far enough under the desk to hide it, and the lever that raises, lowers, and tightens the unit is hard to access and operate. OTOH it is solid and better made.
BEST purchase for my office. If this doesn't improve the way you work, then you aren't a primate.
I have been using this device daily (7/week) for close to four years, and in that time it has never failed me once. I value it as much as every piece of technology I own.
Best option I've found
I did not have enough room to fit the bracket, but it was no problem to cut it down. I really like the separate trays for keyboard and mouse with independent tilt. The tray is very sturdy plastic so I don't have concerns about durability. There is some play in the mechanism that allows it to tilt a bit if you rest one hand on one side, but it is not bad at all and I doubt any other option is better. I tightened up all of the bolts which reduced it somewhat. Overall excellent product.
Attachment part is huge!
I liked the product but had to return it. The metal part that is to be attached under the desk is big. It could not fit under my desk because I have a power desk that goes up and down. The motorized "axel" that runs under my desk from one leg to the other is in the middle underneath the desktop, so this couldn't fit.
Great Value and Great Product
This product is great for the price.
Feels well made and like the manual adjustments
This is a great buy. It's built sturdy and takes the weight of my arms and wrists. I like the manual lock adjustment similar to a ez bike hub latch. Installing was easy enough. I did cut the rail as my desk is not as deep and that was an easy cut with the jigsaw. Over great purchase which will help avoid neck, shoulder, wrist and back problems.
