Good product for the price...well packaged

We put the product together. I didn't find the instructions perfectly clear, but when it came to unfolding the paper backing to put on the backside it ripped when I picked it up and then when I picked the second piece up for the lower half it ripped as well we stood it up And it was so wobbly we had to go and buy corner brackets to put them in to give it stability. I have been meaning to call about getting new backing because it's so cheap. It might as well be tissue paper. But I just didn't get around to calling. Sudder has always been a very good company to buy product from, but after this experience, I will never buy again!!

Sauder Beginnings 5-Shelf Bookcase, Cinnamon/Cherry

I have had one of these cabinets for years and love it. I only hope the quality is the same as I recently purchased a sauder unit from another supplier and the quality had diminished considerably.

This is a really nice bookcase

There was some minor cracking/scratching on a couple of the pieces. It went together very well and looks great.

Great Deal

I was looking for storage shelves for a large upstairs bathroom when I came across this great deal on clearance. I love the white for it's clean, bright look. They went together without any problems and are sturdy enough for average use.

Very wobbly product

The product is thin and was very wobbly. I had to buy extra supports from an external source to make it functional.

The back of unit is cardboard. Barely thicker than a cereal box. Will not hold such weight without shelves sagging or breaking. NOT high density particle board. Fine for linens, but not for books or canned goods. Light duty use only.

Not sturdy.

I bought this bookcase August 2022. Since day one this thing has not been very sturdy. There isn’t enough support to hold the two pieces together. I will not be buying this again. Over the years I have put together over 5 bookcases. This is the first one to fall apart on me.

This is an inexpensive bookshelf that is easy to assemble.

Good quality

Used these with the chest of drawers to make modular furniture for my bedroom, really need another one but looks like the highland oak finish is sold out every where, must be the favorite finish.

Great Price

I was looking for a white bookcase to match a bedroom set and found this on clearance. The price was great and easy to assemble. They are just plain shelves, but function well for what I needed. Probably will have to be careful of not putting too many books on them of course.

Looked like it has already been built and then returned. It was scratched the plastic bags holding the screws were all ripped open and discharged inside the box

The directions are a little difficult to follow so you have to really pay attention. Overall though, I am pleased with the product.

Thought price was good. shipping nearly lost it and it was several days late arriving. When it finally came, it was missing parts!!!! Total loss!!!

Not worth the money

This is about as cheap of a piece of furniture you can buy. It's sawdust and glue with a thin laminate coating that falls apart easily. The thin cardboard backer board was cut short by the manufacturer and it doesn't fit. I had to use duct tape to secure it to the back and to cover the gap along the side.
