Nice not having to use a door handle. Just push on your unlocked door and it will open. Great when arms are full. Just unlock the door on your first trip in, and lock your door when done.

Did not secure doors as anticipated, the product does work (keeping doors shut) however requires closing doors (very) gently. I replaced the ball catch type that came with my doors, as these are 'builder grade' doors my review impression could be due to the quality of my doors. You will need to mortise for the strike plate as it is wider than the ones used with the typical ball catch, in addition re-measure for the correct location to fully engage the roller.

Great Roller Catch

Used this roller catch to convert a regular closet door latch to a friction type latch and enable removal of a protruding door handle into a narrow hallway (this change was accompanied by the use of a flush type pull).
