Just OK for the Price

I recently received this desk lamp and so far it's just ok. It was easy to assemble and doesn't droop like other reviews on other websites indicated. However, 3 watts is not bright at all so if you need a brighter light for reading, then this is not the best choice! Keep in mind the on/off switch is on the cord which may make it difficult to find in a dark room. I placed that part of the cord on my window sill where light from the outside street lamp guides me toward the on/off switch. I mainly bought it for the chrome finish to coordinate with other chrome finishes in my home office. Luckily I have a nice ceiling fan with 3 LED, 75w bulbs for more lighting. It seems to function better as a night-light than anything else.

The lamp is a cheap looking lamp, but it is a good light for a desk. The white paper of a copy book does not hurt your eyes, so it is worth the money.

Very practical and classy but simple design that leaves no doubt it was made by someone with lots of taste. The only hang up is that the power switch is a little too low and hard to reach.

Happy Camper

Great little lamp for my small desk. It looks great and the LED light produces just the right amount of lighting. The only part I didn't realize was that the on/off toggle switch is on the power cable, which hangs down behind the desk. I would have preferred the switch on the lamp.

Terrible

Bad purchase for the price. Lamp's adjustable arm won't tighten and the plug-in on the base has pulled loose. I'm returning it today.

simple elegance

Lamp came fast and well packaged.....out of the box and onto my Eileen.Gray table....cool... nice smooth sliding on/off switch......the best soft light....and the price is right.... as I said...simply elegant...thanx home depot (;-) LL

Not Well Designed

The lamp looks nice but the lamp position is held in place with 1 screw. But the weight of the lamp head is too heavy and it immediately droops.

Packaging was insufficient.

Lamp was loose in the box. There also was a hole in the box. That was taped up. This is a gift. I pray it works and has all parts. Did not have time to check it out before having to wrap. The lamp looks stylish. But packaging leaves a lot to be desired.
