This thing is not well made. Each of its mechanisms, both the head pivot and the arm pivot required many readjustments, in the case of the arm, by adjusting the tension of the chord in the base, and in the case of the head, by tightening the screws that hold the pivoting head by friction. Finally, last week, the head connection snapped in its entirety. The design is stylish, but the engineering and quality are totally lacking.
The LED light and switch and well done (as well as the shipping package) but the construction details are terrible. The connection from the base to the vertical support is very poorly designed and constructed. . The vertical support does not sit plumb to the base and the lamp wobbles around.
