I have 3 mid size dogs and it seems to keep them in the back seat.

Hard assembly

Crates should not be hard to assemble but this came with the doors hooked together and it was near impossible to separate then so the crate could be used. Hopefully it was an exception and not a rule.

Make Your Chevy Malibu into a Dog Crate!

We recently adopted a Great Pyrenees that had been abused, and a lot of anxiety. He was really dangerous to drive in a car like our Chevy Malibu, constantly reaching between the seats and pawing my arm. I read some reviews on pet barriers; and settled on the Jumbl Pets Heavy-Duty Adjustable Car & SUV Dog Barrier. In conjunction with a console protector also purchased from Chewy, our big boy stays in back where he belongs. It is probably best to have a helper when installing, and definitely grab some zip-ties to keep the barrier firmly attached to the headrests in a car like the Malibu. That is the only shortcoming; the company should include additional straps or zip-ties. Keep in mind that the front seats should be adjusted the same, so the barrier is straight.

Tundra Double Cab

This so far is holding up and doing what it's supposed to, but with the modification of adding a bungee cord to keep the bottom in place. My husband threaded it through the bottom and attached each side under the front seat.

Easy to install and great adjustability. Keeps my dogs behind the seats and safe. I use it with a dog seat hammock and works great together.

Unit fits perfectly in my wife’s Ford escape. We love being able to take our dogs with us wherever we go now. It stays in place exactly the way it is supposed to.

This is a really good product, I have two huskies and one is always trying to come in front with us, we placed this and is really good quality, it needs to be installed by two people, it kept my two dogs in the cargo area that is spacious to lay down.

just got 2 new dogs..one is a 1yr 6mo male the other a 5 month male pup..both were trying to push their way up front and thats a no no..this metal barrier works great..keeps the dogs in the back seat where they belong while we are driving..

Nice fit for me Lexus

Needed 2 of these contraptions, as our escape artist evaded one. Both Fit my Lexus 450 Rx 3rd row very well.

Made it Work

This works, but just needed to make sure that it was snug between the chair and my suv roof. Initially, my husky was able to pop his head through the areas between the cage and the roof.

Dog Barrier is horrible

I purchased this to prevent my dog from gaining access to the front seat while I am driving. It arrived without detailed instructions on how to install it properly. The instructions were line drawings that made no sense. It is also heavy and takes more than one person to hold it in place while attaching the straps to the headrest. After 20 minutes of getting frustrated trying to figure it out, I gave up and put a crate in the back of the car that blocks the space between the seats.

Does the job

This dog barrier does the job. However, I felt the need to strengthen it by using small zip ties here and thee to lighten the stress on the adjustable clips. Also, the straps, though very secure, are difficult to put do/undo. I wish this product had the easy snap clasps.

This works well for hatchbacks

Owning a Prius is a challenge. This works well with small cargo spaces of irregular sizes because it is not dependent on that. It attaches to the headrest.

Excellent barrier

This barrier keeps my dogs and me safe by keeping them in the back of my SUV. I only used the middle section of the barrier.
