I’ve had this pen for nearly 5 years now and it has been a lifesaver multiple times. We’ve used this as a puppy enclosure while camping, an extension of a crate before our puppy was potty trained, a chicken sick pen, a baby play yard, and even as a baby gate around a fireplace. If you’re going back and forth on this, make the purchase.

Sturdy

Good quality. Functioned well as a divider in my outside pen with multiple puppies on each side. The pins were easily hammered into the ground giving support. Just needed a additional pole in the middle for additional support

Does the job but quality is a little lacking

I ordered this X-pen to give my beagle a little extra potty room and it works well! The main reason for my 3 star review is the quality of the cuts on the metal. The slide bar handles don't line up that well with the holes so it's a two-hand endeavor to get the bolts open and closed. Some of the panels also have rough edges that could be smoothed down better. I ordered the same pen from a different company before and it is much nicer. If I were to order another oen, I would probably order from a different company.

Bought this product because my female lab had ACL surgery. Big enough to enclose her comfortably. The snaps need to be a bit larger, but works fine.

Sturdy, well made gated dog fence

I use these camping all the time to give my dogs a safe place to hang out and play off leash. They can be configured to varied shapes and spaces. I love the gates with double latch locks. I also love the various heights available. Works great in giving my 10-50 lb dogs more freedom and safe boundaries on trips over the years. I use them at home as room gates sometimes too when painting or when guests are visiting. I also bought some plastic fence holders which work great holding fence in place on my hardwood floors and at campsites where ground is too hard or gravel packed for hammering in the

Fence was to short

taller x pen, I use it for chickens, and it works well if you cover it. If you had a larger dog, this wire seems to light to hold up with regular dog pressure/teeth. Not a professional quality.

Easy to use but sometimes hard to attach to other things

This is a nice exercise pen and sturdy. However, if you are attaching the ends to something else then the gate is poorly positioned (and the pieces are fixed to each other so can't be repositioned), as it is at one end.

Just what I wanted

I wanted a fence to use indoors to separate our 2 cats because one kept attacking the other. This is perfect! We use it as a free-standing fence, zigzagged and anchored to furniture at the gate end. The other end is secured behind a very heavy corner unit. Cats can see each other, hiss and growl all they want, but there's no more violence. I love that it's light enough for me to set up and fold away every day, but sturdy enough to keep a 16lb cat from terrorizing a 7lb housemate.

Worked well inside for awhile

I got this to put my beagle in when I was away, rather than use a crate. He didn't like it, and then discovered he could move it around - even into the next room since it wasn't attached to the floor! I'm still glad I have it for possible use, and it made me feel like a better "dog mom" until he figured it out!

Indoor and Outdoor lifesaver

We've been using these to keep the dogs in/out of areas while contractors work on the house and yard. The 30 inch height has been fine for Goldens. We connect several together to create a temporary fence. Haven't seen any rust issues but wouldn't used for an entire winter. Perfect for our needs and Midwest is always reliable. I did cut my hand on a couple of pieces so have some sandpaper ready to smooth down any leftover burrs.
