Love this gate for our puppy! It has been great for keeping her from the spaces she's not ready for... I love that it is freestanding. We've had to keep figuring out new ways to keep her from pushing it, but considering we'll only need it for a few months, it's much better than needing to drill into walls. I purchased two others in different sizes since it worked so well!

Dog Gate Works Perfectly and Looks Great

I have a dog sitting business in my house and I needed a gate to block off my kitchen when I am cooking for safety reasons. This gate not only works perfectly, it also looks great. Definitely recommend!

Open box - set up - DONE!

The best thing about is it was ready to go out of the box! Recently purchased a house and have assembled more than my fair share of things so that was AWESOME! Looks beautiful - great weight - the balance feet are good but that aren't always needed since this is so sturdy.

Damaged

Love the gate but was cracked and broken when I received it. Had to unpack it to see how much it was damaged and if I could use it. One part came completely apart. Only want to replace the one panel, but they only accept returns for refund. Too heavy and difficult to repack it.

Mine is broken

Was excited to get this and when it finally got here, taking out of box on bottom panels there are hair line cracks so flipped it upright and there was another one plus a seam had split. Having it one day the bottom on third panel is completely out. I am only moving first panel to enter/exit. Very disappointed that I spent this amount on a failure.

Problems with the Seller and the Shipper

The gate itself is great. It is just what I hoped it would be. It serves it's purpose well. The gate deserves 5 stars. The problem is with the company (Spirich) that sells the gate through Walmart. I paid an additional $86.90 to have the gate delivered within 2 days. Spirich did not even bring the package to FEDEX until the day After it was supposed to have been delivered to me. I requested a refund of my shipping and instead of refunding my money as a courtesy for not living up to their promise of 2nd day delivery, they refunded my shipping and changed my shipping to S-L-O-W... Ground Shipping which took an additional 6 days. Spirich's customer service stinks. To top it all off, FEDEX delivered the 31 lb package to the incorrect building. If the neighbor who received the package weren't honest, I would never have received it at all.

Exactly as advertised. Very pleased with the assembled status right out of the box. Can’t speak to long term quality but it appears durable.

This item sucks

When I FINALLY received the item after more than two weeks later, I opened the already damaged box and it was in pieces. So...it sucked. Then it fell over on my porch while I was calling it in to report the damage and damaged my siding. I would rate it 0 stars if I could. Do not waste your time. I usually dont even rate things, but it was such poor quality and damaged, I wanted to keep someone else from making the same mistake.

Quality and Safe Shipping Materials

Awesome color match. Safe & Quality packaging 5+...very important to me. Arrived all intact and not damaged from shipping. For price, good product. Wish product was a bit heavier, so cats/dogs could push ends, but then again makes nicer to move and having some versatility. Very satisfied.

Versatile

I needed a pet gate for my 7lb pomeranian. We have very wide doorways, and I didn't want to have to mount hardware to any of my doorways or walls. This gate was aesthetically pleasing, and was also incredibly versatile since it's freestanding. This gave me the freedom to block off access points wherever I needed them without having to purchase multiple gates. My only concern was if it would be secure enough to contain my little guy. It's definitely too high for him to jump over, and he previously learned how to climb his last gate so it was good to see the wires for the gate don't allow for him to get a toehold. This gate is really heavy, which is a good thing since he was jumping on it and it didn't budge. It's definitely more secure on a hard floor surface since it comes with two rubberized feet that slip over the bottom footer and help prevent movement. This was not so helpful on plush carpet. I think if you have a larger dog, or one that has a tendency to throw themselves against a barrier this might not work for you. As for me, it totally fits the bill. I also love that when it's being used it's not an eyesore, but looks like a well made piece of furniture.
