Amazing high quality, beautiful product

It looks beautiful in the entryway. The compartments and shelves are so spacious and store so much. I already had another Sauder cabinet but it still goes a long way to say that the quality and crafstmanship of their prpducts is really high. Great attention to detail with quality accent hardware - you can tell they really thought about where things went and adding cosmetic hardware to hide the screws or nails.

Worth the price

This is a well made unit. It's heavy so was not easy to lug upstairs. The composite top is not wood but looks like it is. It was a lot to assemble, made some mistakes, but the instructions were clear.

Craftsman Oak looks like solid wood

I would buy this again but my item was not at the quality I

The product was well packaged however there were two elements, the top and one of the panels had minor damage. As the item was half way put together, i did not bother returning it. As the external package had no blemishes - it would appear the damage took place at the factory where the package was assembled. That was poor quality control. Also the cam covers which cover the hidden cams were difficult to install and the plastic spoke needed to secure the item was easily bent and broken. In the past, such items were easy to install by simply pushing in with your thumb. That did not work on these items. The design was great and the instructions were easy to follow. I have always valued Sauder products. Unfortunately this item was great in design, appearance and functionality but was only moderate on the fit and finish due to the damage outlined above.

Beautiful piece yet quality lacking construction

I use this as a horizontal shelf. Putting it together however the instructions are not as clear as they could be and some of the joints do not line up completely as they should the top connections are not solid if someone were to accidentally lift this from the top the whole piece would come apart Securing the top board should have been constructed in a more secure manner

Super simple instructions for putting together

From start to finish the entire build process took me, just me, 2 1/2 hours. I laid out all the parts and then meticulously followed the step-by-step directions. The one hiccup I ran into was when placing the back panel on the unit I placed it on upside down. The only indication it was upside down it the holes for nails going across the center of the panel should have been near the top and not the bottom. The top has a shelf that runs the entire length which you nail into. I had all the other nails in before realizing this, so I just used my hammer to tap the panel until I heard the shelf behind it and then added my final nails. This made far more sense to me than removing the roughly 50 nails I already did in the back panel just to flip it around and do it again. FYI, the back panel is the only place than uses nails. The rest of the unit depends on screws. I was really happy with myself that I did not run into any big issues and will definitely buy another Sauder product.

Credenza is just as advertised. No problems assembling.

This is a very sturdy credenza. I bought it to make a pressing station and it is perfect. It has plenty of space and is very nice looking.

Super cute! Using as a TV stand for a 65 inch tv. It’s also perfect with some baskets as a way to keep my toddlers toys concealed and put away in our living room. I knocked off one star because there was a part that got dented in transportation, it’s not super noticeable though and the price does seem really sturdy!
