Be Careful! Sharp corners!
Nice lamp, but BE CAREFUL! The pointed sharp corners on the bulb cover will do serious damage to your forehead or eyes!! If I had noticed them earlier (before I discarded the shipping boxes), I would have returned it. Whoever designed it didn't work with it before submitting the design!! It's SHARP-cornered!!
Best brand of lights for sewing
I have several of this brand of lighting. Never a disappointment. Always gives off the perfect light for my quilting needs. Using this lamp near my ironing board to see clearly when I press.
Terrible!
We can't get the bolt tight on the bottom at all. There was all this extra cord with no instruction on how to push it down the tube. Or if it even should go down the tube! Finally got the extra cord down there and now the light doesn't fit tight to the tube. We wasted a bunch of time on a $100.00 piece of plastic junk!! And the actual light is not that great!!

13w WingShade Floor Lamp
Quite a few years ago I bought two black floor lamps and have one on each side of my Stressless Chair. My training as an architect I believe light should have two sources + for greatest effect such as reading, including rooms and window light. Also, 'daylight' replacement bulbs are essential as yellow light is terrible. LOVE my OttLight lamps and would be at a loss w/o them.
OttLite floor lamp exceeds my expectations
This is perfect for working on my diamond painting projects. High quality (as I would expect from Ott) and much better than other floor lamps I’ve tried. Definitely recommend.

Love the bright “ daylight” glow to illuminate my sewing area! I have a few in my room & when I’m in the basement at night, i feel like it’s mid-day it’s so bright!
