Almost every chair was chipped.

I ordered 12 chairs. After opening 3 boxes to find out that all 6 of them had damaged to the wood and paint. There were at least 1 chipped spot on each chair, some had a few. There was missing stain/paint towards the bottom of the legs.

DO NOT BUY

This was the worst purchase ever. Took me 3 hours to get one chair almost together. The tool to screw in the screws does not fit right to took forever to get one screw in. Got to the end and there is no way to attach the seat cushion to the chair. This was a nightmare. Not to mention, there were scratches on the chair and looks like someone filled them in with marker. Buyer beware! I was very disappointed because the look was exactly what I had been searching for.

The chairs were excellent quality for the price.

Very classy look. Went perfect with my table. I highly recommend these.

If i were buying these chairs for looks,I’d give them a 3-4 but for comfort a 2. The seats are as hard as a rock and quite thin. The actual time to put together was not bad. The inderside of the wood isnt great but it also isnt visible so no worries there. We bought them as kitchen chairs to replace our old ones but have to return. They are just not comfortable and although they have some thin padding, they feel like they have none. Btw our chairs, which we love, are also made by Baxton

Save yourself the time

Save yourself the time and frustration. The look of these chairs is great (Raymour and Flannigan look alikes) but my goodness the assemble is terrible. The instructions are useless. The pieces are not adequately marked. The allen wrench was in exactly the right size and there is not adequate space to actually turn the wrench. I spent over an hour (I am generally very handy) and still didn’t have one chair assembled. If you have time and aren’t easily frustrated- these are for you. Otherwise- beware.

CHEAP, not well crafted, holes do not line up, one leg was cracked. They were delivered 1:30pm on 11/17/2022 and we were TRYING to assemble them at 4:30pm when we noticed this. I’m posting at 6:20pm. BAD PURCHASE

My beautiful dining chairs!

I really like my new chairs for my dining table. However, the picture of the chairs online look pure white and say they are white, but they are actually an eggshell color. Thankfully, the color still looks good with my yellow and gray walls. I did notice a small slit (cut) on the side of two of the seat cushions. I'm not sure if they came like that or the person I had put them together accidentally made the slit (cut). They are very minor and had I not been looking very closely, I would not have seen them. Very satisfied with my purchase! There might be several photos because I can't see if the picture uploaded while writing the review.

Poor Craftsmanship

I am very disappointed with the lack of craftsmanship and attention to detail in these chairs. I would like to point out some of the more disheartening deficiencies; the finish was so poorly applied, in some places it didn't cover the wood and in others it was so heavy it ran. The bottom of the legs had so much stain on them, that after assembly, when pushing the chair under the table, it left four brown skid marks on the floor. Thank goodness it wasn't a carpeted floor. Which leads me to the next issue, there were no casters on the legs of the chairs. I had to sand the bottoms, and put my own casters on to complete the job. The wood itself is marred and pitted in several places. The support rails are poorly fitted, and over stained, which made it difficult to assemble the chairs. The most disheartening part is that all of the materials needed to make a good chair are there, a little care, attention to detail and pride in workmanship would have produced an excellent chair for the price.

The look of the chairs is fine and they seem sturdy enough so far. However, they are difficult to assemble and the assembly techniques used leave me wondering about their long term durability. Some of the screws were hard to insert and get started and the joints did not close completely when the screws were tightened. I also had to partially disassemble one chair because the four legs did not sit evenly on the floor. Once I re-tightened the screws while sitting on the chair, the legs leveled out. The seats are attached by 3 screws, but there are no pilot holes in the seats and the screws don't have much to grab in the seat frame. Quality of the seat cushion covering material also seems a bit problematic. It is fairly thin and I wonder how it will hold up to daily use.

I havent pulled them all out of the box yet but the one I did is absolutely gorgeous! I absolutely love these chairs! Also they were a little late in coming but I was sent an email every day about what was going on. I did not have to track them down to find out where my chairs were. I didnt mind them being a week late because I knew what was going on.
