You need this pump

The double action really cuts down on inflation and deflation times. The pressure gauge is a plus if what you're inflating needs minimum pressures. It wasn't what I term expensive but worth what I paid

[Rewarded Review] Generic pump, generic, unreliable parts, for a premium price

I read another reviewer who said the PSI gauge wasn't working. I thought it was a stroke of bad luck for the poor guy. But nope. Mine came and same deal. PSI gauge didn't work. It wouldn't budge in the slightest. I read forum posts about backfill pressure, having the valve in the correct position, etc. etc. In the end, the PSI gauge simple didn't work. I contacted support and they are apparently sending a new one my way.

Inflatable Kayaking in Michigan waterways with confidence and stability

We use the battery powered pump initially and the hand pump as a backup and for pressurizing the final few PSI. Thanks for your constant care in our needs as we explore the great state of Michigan with the best inflatable kayak I have ever seen. It was not inexpensive but the thrill of being able to wander the many waterways of Michigan confidently is worth every penny. Thanks!!!

Good quality and function for the price

The pump works well and delivers a good volume of air on each stroke. The gauge is very hand for getting correct inflation on my pontoon boat. I carry it on the river to top off my boat as needed. It is not robust enough for commercial rafts, but for recreational inflatables it is more than adequate.

Gauge pump

The pump works as it will blow up my inflatable kayak but the gauge does not work. I called Advanced Element & they told me I need a part that doesn't come with the pump. They sent it to me at no charge but the gauge still will not show any PSI's. I went to LL Bean & William helped me, he called Advanced Element when I was there and they told William the same as me but It doesn't work with the part they sent me. LL Bean staff member William was very helpful & tried to help me but it just can't be done if the pressure gauge isn't working. I give up on the gauge & will have to guess the pressure when filling it up. I wouldn't buy this one.

If you have a Advance Elements Kayak this is a must! This product is Light comes with gauge so no guessing what pressure the Kayak is at & the top screws off for easy Maintenance & inspection. This product also takes have the time for me to pump up the Kayak compared to a standard foot pump.

Great pump, bad nozzles

Thanks to the double-action of this pump, it inflates my Advanced Elements kayak quickly. The nozzles at the end of the hose, though, are a pain. They're held together and attached to the hose by a short piece of plastic. It's so short that it makes it difficult to select the right nozzle, attach it to the hose, and then attach the nozzle to the valve. You're fighting the other nozzles all the time. Five stars for the pump, minus one for the nozzles.
