Bought this for our daughter and son in law for their front door. It looks really cool and works well.

This door knocker is beautiful and big. It’s the perfect way to announce the modern sensibilities of our home. However, beware that it mounts on a small mounting plate held in place with two small (1”) wood screws, so the intention is that it will be mounted on a wood door. Our door is insulated metal, so we’ve had to do a bit of ‘retro-fitting’ to make it work. However, it is beautiful!

A bit small than I thought, but definitely nice and unique. However, make sure you use the enclosed hex key to pop out the mounting disc and setting screw for the strike plate. I thought these parts were missing when I first received the package.

This is a really nice contemporary door knocker however, it is very large and was too overwhelming for my small Cape Cod home and would be best suited for a contemporary style mansion.

The knocker was musding screws and the holes we not all the way thru to screw the knocker to the door !
