Got the 36 Aged Oak mantle with the 6.25 depth. Very happy with this purchase, exactly what I was looking for. Based on some other mixed reviews with consistency of colorstaindistressing, I bought 2 just to be safe. I got lucky and the first one I opened was great. Color is like a walnut. Pictures show it in bright overheard lighting and natural lighting. Very easy to install. One thing to note, its not sealed or finished, Id be careful with what you use to clean it with.

This is a nice product! I have no complain. Fits, matching and blended well with my brick. The manufacturer, should have been send extra screws for bricks too. But I have no worries buying screws anyway. Overall it is really nice!

This was just what we were looking for. It is solid and well-made. We installed it two and a half years ago and it’s held up perfectly.

Very nice mantel shelf. Hung it under tv but above electric hang-on-wall fireplace. We built a wood surround so whole area looked like a built in fireplace.

This is the second time Ive installed a Dogberry mantel for a client. Pretty cost effective and great aesthetic, it would cost me much more in labour, materials, and time to custom make one of these. This particular install worked out great as I had to fit this over an existing brick mantel and the Dogberry mantel was sized big enough to just slip right over it and fastened directly I to the brick. Get it! This is the 72 inch mantel in the color aged oak. It has a very warm tone so watch out for paint colors that may accentuate that (dark cool tones). Otherwise 1010. Everyone who comes over compliments us on it
