[Rewarded Review] Amazing During Wildfire Season

My purifier arrived just as the wildfire smoke arrived in Washington state. Days of haze bringing horrible allergies, coughing, sinus issues, headaches, burning eyes and throat. We don’t have central air, just portable AC units which offer some filtering of the nasty air but definitely need something more. We also live on a mountain so a lot of allergens and dirt/dust. I bought extra filters because I knew the one that comes with the purifier would dirty quickly. Within a week this purifier caught so much of all the terrible things in the air that I had to change the filter. And my overall health was better while inside with this air purifier running. With the second filter I ended up vacuuming it out then rinsing it in warm water, dry and reuse without any issues and same level of quality. So you can get away with reusing a filter 2-3x before putting in a brand new one. With 2022 inflation and cost of living 75% of the population is struggling with, this gives you and opportunity to save some money. I love this air purifier and when finances allow, I am going to buy one for each room in my house. But right now, my house is 1700sq ft and it worked great for the main part of the house. I would just love one in each of the bedrooms as well. Do yourself the favor and get one of these purifiers because they are worth every penny.

This review is for the Air Health Skye Portable Air Purifier. My first impression of this product was set by the way this air purifier was packaged. The unit was in a suitable cardboard box but once opened I was impressed by the foam packing on the top and bottom of the unit. Then taking the unit out of the box it is covered by a soft white felt cloth sack that looked high quality. The instructions included with the air purifier are extremely clear and easy to follow. They are on a large square piece of cardboard on top of the unit on one side is how to set-up Skye and on the reverse is how to use it. After setting up and plugging unit in the air purifier displays a reading indication the air quality. The air purifier is relatively quiet and could provide some soft white noise benefits. We are impressed with the Health Skye Portable Air Purifier and would highly recommend it.

There’s lots to love about this item! It was super easy to put together. Trust me, I’m not mechanically inclined at all but had zero problems putting it together. It’s only the light that screws into the inner filter base. All I had to do was tip it on its side, unscrew the bottom, push the light into the socket, put the bottom back on and it was ready to turn on. It’s not loud at all! It blows good clean air. My daughter has allergic reactions to dust and pollens. She has tested positive to Covid 8 times. It caused some type of inflammatory condition. This system seems to be helping her. It’s only been a few days and she thinks it makes a difference. The air system sits in the middle of her room. The only drawback I see is the cord is short and since it has to sit in the middle of the room I had to use a small extension cord. If they made the cord a few inches longer this would be perfect. I think this is a great air cleaner for the home and it’s quiet enough my daughter can sleep with this thing running and does not wake her up. Super nice. I’m not sure what the energy cost is yet but it seems pretty efficient. I give this a 5/5 even with the cord length issue!

I am an asthmatic and have another family member with asthma. Clean air is a must for us. This has changed the game because you can very specifically control the environment. It removes odor and dust or allergens. I am very impressed so far and will be keen to find how much the replacement filters will cost to keep it going.

Easy to put together by following directions from the quick read card. Further instructions are in the handy manual also included. Open the base, remove plastic from filter, click in the bulb also included and replace filter. Screw in the base. Stand upright. Place in an open area. Turn power on from the button on the back. Adjust settings. Download "air health IAQ" app to manage your air purifier from your phone. Check your air quality, lamp life and filter life from the app as well. This unit can be noisy if dial is turned up high and very quiet when dial is turned down low, but it is still working to clean the air from pollutants and allergens. The color on the dial changes to indicate when to change the lamp or filter. You can even set the child lock to prevent your curious children from changing the modes you've preset. Wifi usage. Pro cell filter, pre-filter, carbon, HEPA, AND PCO. Run this continuously to clean the air and maintain healthy air quality.. highly recommended.

All good. The filter was easy to handle from the box. The instruction sheet made life easy as 1-2-3. After removing the wrap of the filter and installing the UV lamp, the filter was all set. Power on and the filter was running. I set it to the max rate and the noise from the filter - min. Rate was good. Comparing with the existing brand I had, noise level was excellent for the new one.

And the love for this excellent air purifier blossomed as the instructions were clear and simple. The 5 stages of air purification are noticeable with the pre-filter, carbon filter, HEPA filer, Pro-Cell Technology, UV and smart monitoring & active mode. The fact is that this air purifier is exactly what was needed in our home. We have seasonal allergies and immediately noted a difference. As the packing box stated this is "air purifying power". The photos with my review are not of the unit itself which you can easily find online but of the first impression unboxing this brilliant air purifier. The superiority of this air purifier leaves me awestruck! Like the purest water has no taste, this purification system cleans the air leaving a refreshing and calming atmosphere as each intake of breath is clean and allergies are at rest. My highest praise to the engineering and design of this brilliant system!

All I can saw is wow. We are a house of allergies as all my kids and myself have bad summer allergies. After installing this filter not only is our house cleaner in the sense that there is less dust but we all can breathe better but our allergies are not as bad as they usually are. Overall we are really pleased with this air filter.

I am allergic to cats and my daughter recently moved back into our ho e from an apartment that she shared with her cat. I have asthma around cats and have to get an inhaler and take allergy medication daily. I try to clean as much as possible, and I’ve used air purifiers since the cat moved in. I have one in my bedroom, one in the hallway toward front of house, and one in living room. I still have a great amount of dust in my home all the time, despite all the things I do to keep it clean. This air purifier gas made a tremendous difference since I put in our family room. As you can see from my pictures, I am not kidding about having 3 purifiers already. This AIR HEALTH SKYE purifier has really worked on limiting dust and helping with my allergy symptoms to the cat. I honestly wish I had one in every room in my home! It is well built and very powerful. This one drawback is that it is a little noisier than I hoped it would be. That’s not a problem since I run it hat a higher setting at night to keep the room quieter during family activities, watching TV, chatting, and work. I have not had to replace the filter yet, so I don’t know how much the replacement will be, but it should last half a year I would hope, before a new filter is needed. I wish the replacement filters for these purifiers cost less, that would help too. I would recommend it to those people who have a large family type room you wish to keep the air clean in.
