It will do
It is made of plastic. They don’t make nothing like they use to. Good quality is out the window anymore. The legs on it were too short, could have been longer.
Would purchase again
Lightweight. Easy to install. Motor is louder than I'd like but is efficient.
Great product
Great product
Attic Fan
Easy to install this attic fan
Really helps cooling the attic so ac isn’t running
Easy to install and works well
Nice Gable Fan
This is the third one of these I’ve bought over the years as they’ve been lasting around 10 years. This new one, however, has a lifetime warranty so will see how that works out. I live here in Southern Arizona so it’s subjected to some pretty extreme temperatures.

Easy to install but needs rubber mounting grommets to reduce vibration
Don't buy this plastic peace of crap from Lowes
Very cheap made..the plastic housing broke while installing..
Lifetime warranty - Made in America!
Hasn’t stopped since the heatwave blew in! Lifetime warranty and made in America!
Impressive product
I had this installed by a good electrician.
Does not last
Can't remember how long the first worked but when it failed the motor got so hot it melted the plastic frame. Darn lucky I didn't have an attic fire. So I replaced it (10/15/2016) with the same model because I did not want to change the mount. What's the chance of it happening again? Right? Well the summer of 2021 I could hear that the replacement was failing. Making a terrible noise. Upon removal I found the motor was puking oil. Not sure what I'm going to do now.
Easy
Had electrician run up direct power super easy install.
Motor inefficient. Oil ports not real, don't use!
My fans run approx 12 hours per day for about 1/2 the year. The shaded-pole motor this brand of fan uses requires much more electricity than does the PSC motor with a run capacitor most of the competition uses. Compare the amps and the wattage between brands. The ratio between brands is also the ratio of electricity the fans will use. I live in CA where electricity is extremely expensive. I called several manufacturers and had all the stats but misplaced the info. However, I remember the electrical cost difference is at least $10/mo per fan for me and since I have two fans we are talking at least $20/mo. The difference can become even more because PG&E has penalty tiers for excessive electricity use. Thus, the additional energy use was a deal-breaker for me.
Attic fan
Just what I wanted to replace the old one. This one comes with a lifetime warranty too.
quiet fan
This fan was very easy to install and is much quieter than the one I had (it was 25 yrs old)
Was sold a Damaged Product as a clearance item
Bought this and could not tell from the outside that the fan housing was cracked. Removed from packaging at home and discarded packaging, so was no longer able to return. There should be a
Gable Fan
Easy to install, moves a lot of air, but not as quiet as I had hoped. I would still recommend the fan it has made a big difference in our overall house temperature.
Gable mounted attic fan
Had an Air Vent gable fan ( previously had temp and humidity control) for 15 years, finally wore out/became very noisy. Replaced with this one (only temp control). Installation seamless, and works well...as quiet as the previous one. Requires the ability to open an existing electrical box, splice in black/white/ground wires, set up a frame to which the fan may be attached, screw in the four screws (I added stainless washers), attach the temp control to a stud, and set to your desired temp to turn on. I always have an electrician do the electrical hookup, to meet code requirements, but I do the rest. Not a tough installation.
Makes a HUGE difference!
Attic fan is must this summer! I just installed this super quite attic fan with built in thermostat this week. I definitely recommend it! My upstairs was always warmer than my downstairs and now that's all in the past. The attic feels comfortable and the airflow around my house has been so much better. I also hear it saves you on your electric bill and helps your roof last longer. Now I don't mind using my attic for more storage.
Nice would buy again.
Nice fan. It is quieter than the less CFM fan it replaced. The is a nice quality and the motor seems to to be a good size for the fan. Not too big but large enough to run the fan all day.
