Poor Choice of TV Cabinets, WAYYYY Overpriced

Nice Looking Piece. NOT wood as states, Cheap particle board which leads to most of my 2 * rating. Its not strong enough to hold any TV with any weight n very flimsy once put together. None of the holes lined up so I had to drill new so they did and use a lot of wood glue to give extra support in seams and corners to keep it from falling apart and let sit overnight. WORTH maybe $150, But not what we paid. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU BUY

A good product, solid, pretty and functional.

I love the piece. There were some assembly issues (product was not cut right to fit dowels in, which resulted in some clever adjustments to get the pieces to work together. Luckily it was not in an area that was visible nor affecting the support of the unit. It holds a 55" tv perfectly. I love the height and the closed doors to keep kitty from getting into everything. The color is not quite as red as it appears in the picture, which I was very happy with.

Received my TV cabinet in good shape. No dings or scratches after doing inventory of all the parts.(there is a lot of Styrofoam to throw away!) The cabinet had good instructions and was easy to put together...about 1 1/2 hrs. Looks great. A added bonus for me was, you can undo the top lid screws at any time and remove the lid to access wires that I have in the upper cubicle. I would recommend this Corner TV cabinet. Good price and delivery.

Mixed feelings...

It's generally a decent piece of furniture once it's put together, but that took a very long time, as it came in a lot of pieces, and many of the dowel holes were drilled too large, so gluing was necessary for stability. Also, a few pieces were slightly cracked or scratched, but thankfully the defects were mostly in areas that could be hidden. If we hadn't put so much into the assembly, we may have been tempted to send it back; but once it was done, it works okay for what we needed. I would think twice before buying furniture online from Target again...

Very Nice Mahogany TV Stand

Beautiful color and goes with the wood floors and trim in my house. Had someone put it together for me. All worked out well. Nice and solid. No damage. I did read reviews about opening it up outside and I took out all the pieces and wiped them off before I brought them in the house. Very dusty, but easy to clean. Tons of Styrofoam packaging. Glad it was all outside and I could just sweep it off the porch.

Looks nice; does the job

Warning: This item is made in China, and is packaged with mega amounts of Styrofoam to survive shipment. I recommend (weather permitting) unpacking this box outdoors and cleaning off each piece individually before bringing inside. The amount of Styrofoam and associated particulate is obnoxiously messy. Took about 2 hours to assemble (not rushing). Directions are very clear, and the only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver and an Allen wrench (which is provided). When mounting the glass doors, make sure you pay attention to which side is up/down. That was my only "oops" moment. Once the spring loaded hinge pins are set, they're not coming out unless you disassemble the cabinet. The fix was easy enough. I just moved the metal plate on the door for the magnet latch to where I needed it to be.

We Love It

This corner stand is beautiful and came packaged extremely well with parts labeled and shrink wrapped rather than in little baggies and even came with extra parts if needed. It was easy to put together and the instructions were done well. We love it and appreciate the three shelves for components. The corner shelves are not large but big enough for our router and modem and the manuals. It fits our area perfectly; there were other TV stands I was attracted to but they were all too large for our corner. The glass doors are very attractive. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and we are very pleased with our purchase.

It's just "ok"

It is nice it has solid wood top and bottom. However the mass manufacturing of the product must have gone down because it was a pain to put together and align pieces. Not sure it is worth the price I paid - $ and time wise. It is up now and I will use it however, every time I look at it I am disappointed. I just paid *** for a solid wood already assembled piece on another website that is much better for my needs. The dowels vs. the pre-set screws do not align well and made it hard to align and tighten pieces together without snapping the screw anchors. The feet dowels did not align at all with the bolt holes so couldn't use them to make sure the feet were securely fastened. I wouldn't do this again

Perfect for what I needed

This is a nice corner TV cabinet. It fit my corner perfectly, is a nice height and was easy to assemble. I was able to assemble this cabinet by myself, although I did need my husband to help me get the box in the house. The box is a bit bulky. The box arrived at the store slightly damaged, but there wasn't even a scratch anywhere on the cabinet, so the bulky packaging served it's purpose. It took me about 2.5 hours to completely assemble this, which I thought was a reasonable amount of assembly time. All the necessary hardware was included and the bun feet come packaged separately. I think this cabinet has a few different names on the website and what I have discovered is the only real difference in the three styles is the foot type. Hence the reason they are packaged separately I suppose. Overall, I am very pleased with this item and it looks very nice in my living room.

thoughts on purchase

$313 for lots of assembly required furniture seems quite steep. Bought this online and had it shipped to local store to save on shipping. Product was well packaged. There was a box within a box followed by lots of styrofoam and wrapping. Instructions do a good job explaining things. Each wooden piece is marked with a sticker - pay attention to sticker on the doors that say "UP" otherwise you will have to disassemble the bottom when you realize the door won't stay shut because the metal plate on the door is in the wrong spot and won't catch the magnetic latch. Oops. The doors use spring loaded plastic nipples that fit into predrilled holes, I tried several flat blade screw drivers (including a jeweler) and even a pic once I loosened middle shelf in order to pry down one of those nipples in hopes of getting the door out. Only way to get that door back out is to undo the bottom from the stand. Which brings me up to why i didn't want to do that.
