These filters do a good job cleaning the water, but they are very expensive even on sale and rarely last more than a few months. They can be cleaned and reused one time or sometimes two but only for a few additional weeks unless there is rust in the water then they don't last very long even new. Definitely not the long use advertised.

Okay, problem with filter, the black stoppers came out of our cannister and water turn black. Had to do process over again. Three times the water tasted better for awhile and now it taste meltalic.
