[Rewarded Review] High quality Weber BBQ Grill
The Weber Smoke-Fire wood pellet grill is exceptionally designed with good-quality materials. There is nothing "cheap" about this grill regarding that. I like the new tech features that make grilling easier like the WIFI connectivity that informs you of the internal food temperature, using two included temperature probes that connect to the grill's body. I wanted a grill that would reach high temperatures for me to sear steaks quickly, and yet, cook the steaks medium or medium rare with definite grilling outside texture. The specs say you can get temperatures up to 600 degrees, but I've had it go as high as 700. It's easily transportable using the smooth-riding caster wheels. The lid cover is a bit heavy, but I'm sure that's what keeps the heat from escaping.
Very happy with this product
Smoked my first 2 racks of baby back ribs today and my wife and I agreed they were the best of any smoker we've ever used, couldn't be more pleased with this pellet grill !!!

This is quite possibly the worst product I’ve ever purchased! Shortly after warranty expired, surprisingly it quit working. Prior to this worked inconsistently. Have replaced glow plug X 3. Still have a $1000 paper weight. NEVER will buy a Weber product again, and will warn everyone I can to do the same!!!
Don't waste your money
Has malfunctioned the 3 times I have used it in less than a month. Has almost went through 40lbs of pellets. Already want to get rid of it.
Weber SmokeFire EX4 Black Wood Fired Pellet Grill BBQ (2nd Generation)
This order came very quickly today is the first time firing it up and using a pellet grill the instructions to build this was so easy especially when downloading the bilt app
Expensive garbage - avoid, avoid
Out of the 4 BBQs we have tried to have with this BBQ, 3 have been totally ruined, and we have had to finish cooking in the kitchen.
Great Grill with great features
Purchased direct from Weber website, used it a few times both low & slow and quick cooks. Food has come out great each time. It's a really well thought out grill with some very handy features (Pellet clean out and grease/ash trap). For the price I would have liked it to come with at least 2 temperature probes. Bit of a tedious clean up with all the parts and a few sharp bits to cut your hands on or snag your cloth. I would like to see a couple of improvements on the app, it's linked to the grill so you can cook along with it but you can't select your step/alter the cook times so if you're not setting it step for step you have to wait for it to catch up. Overall a fantastic unit.
Really impressed
Really like the professional design, fast heat up, and easy clean up. So much nicer than the old Green Mountain Grill I replaced.
[Rewarded Review] Best quality
I love the quality of the weber, this grill is easy to put together and after a few tries it's easy to learn how to cook delicious food!
I was hopping for a more plug and play (family) option than the Green Egg. It took about 35-45 minutes for it to update software before we could even turn it on. It takes about 15 minutes to go through a shutdown cycle before you can truly turn it off. I was not able to get it to go to 600 degrees and stay there for flame broiling as expected. It is very messy and requires a lot of cleaning on the outside as well as the inside. Ash and smoke builds up on the pellet lid and backside of the grill. Grime from smoke and humidity runs down the from under the main lid down the front of the grill. It is very pellet hungry. I went through two bags of pellets in two days ($40.00). One brisket, Chicken Drum Sticks, Small rack of Ribs and two different hamburger cooks.Legs have some flex and make rolling on uneven surfaces a little challenging. I will stick with my old Weber Silver Genesis for quick and easy grilling and the Egg for every thing else. Home Depot shipping about two weeks late. The silver linning was the ability to try the grill and in my case return it to the Home Depot Store.
Gen 2 Smoker.
This is a replacement for the first generation one that I had. Problems with the first and on the first start up and following directions from Weber the glow plug failed. So not real happy with the Generation 2 right now. Will have to see from here? I'm a Weber fan but not so far with the smoker's.
Poor service by HD, Inferior product
HD delivered first grill to someone else. When I reordered and finally received, Grill/smoker caught on fire during first slow/low cook (200 degrees, pork back ribs. E6errors on every grill since. After seasoning per owners manual 3 out of 4 first cooks have resulted in flameouts or E6 errors. Disassemble, sent pics to “CS”This is my 3rd pellet smkr and by far worst product I have a purchased, embarrassed and irate that I spent over $1000+ for such an inferior, excessive error prone product.
Weber Pellet Grill
I especially like that it has a ceramic lining that keeps the heat at a constant temp that doesn't fluctuate. It's also easy to keep clean and ready to use. Very helpful people at my local ACE!
Nice Outdoor Kitchen Addition
Since getting the Weber SmokeFire EX4 2 Gen for Christmas have had one opportunity to use. We smoked a a Sockeye Salmon after marinating it overnight in refrigerator Yoshi Teriyaki, a recipe we have used before. Following morning patted it dry let set on kitchen counter for about 2 hours. Turn out great after smoking at 225° for one hour, then 20 minutes at 300°. Used the probe to achieve 140° internal temp. Really wanted a precise smoker to achieve consistent temp. My former smoker was an electric which I had to constantly monitor. I was familiar with the probes & Weber apps as we have a Genesis II Gas Grill. Looking forward to smoking a TriTip this weekend!
Overpriced Junk
If you want a smoker with a feed hopper that constantly clogs - this is for you. Do you enjoy setting the temperature and coming out to find that your smoker is stone cold because the feeder is pure garbage - then this 186 pound hunk of scrap metal is your baby. Oh it looks great, but that where it ends. This smoker sucks. Do yourself a favor and buy anything else.
Weber SmokeFire EX4 Black Wood Fired Pellet Grill BBQ (2nd Generation)
Not used the bbq yet as it’s a birthday present for a special birthday but ordering and delivery was all exceptional. I would highly recommend
[Rewarded Review] Excellent Pellet Grill
Was very easy to set up, and very sturdy. Couldnt be happier with this quality pellet grill from Weber. App control is flawless and temps are easily maintained.
[Rewarded Review] great grill/smoker
Great device. Food turns out great and assembled fairly easily. Plenty of space for our family of 3 to make lots of meals. Got a great deal on it when it was on sale.
Not what I expected
I have owned pellet grills for over 20 years. I love them. I own a Weber gas grill and a Weber kettle so I decided to buy a Weber Smokefire. I loved it. I loved to way it could do everything, smoke to sear. I have had it one year. On the 3rd of July it started huge temperature swings, 200° swings. I called customer service and they said I would get a call back. I got an email 2 days later with basically a form letter telling me to check the pellets, and make sure it was assembled correctly. I sent in pictures of all the things they told me to check, all OK, and graph of the temp swings. They would wait several days to reply and tell me other things to check that were not the problem. I finally called again and they sent me a new controller. I thought that would fix it. It didn't! It is now July 27th and I still don't have a grill. I buy pellet grills to have wonderful smoky food without the hassle. The Smokefire is a hassle and Weber customer service is a failure.
Local Ace Hardware - added value of assembly & home delivery
I have used Weber Kettle Grills for a long time, you can grill and smoke but long smokes take a lot of effort and skills. My last Kettle lasted over 20 years and the body was still in great shape. The one before that was damaged in a Tornado.
