This is the closest faucet to the one I had been happily using. First replacement was too short &, more importantly, the spray was so pressurized that it went all over out of the sink. My original faucet is no longer available in CA
Unusably low water flow rate
Do you want to control how much water comes out of your faucet? If so, you will hate this one. There is a flow restrictor that limits the water flow so severely that cleaning pots and pans becomes a much more serious chore than it needs to be. It also means I have to wait 3 times longer to get hot water that comes from a water heater on another floor. The manufacturer, hansgrohe, told me that the restrictor cannot be removed. This is the third faucet I have had on this sink, and it is the first one that produced these flow issues.
The pull out section of the faucet is not metal! This is the area of highest use because you are constantly using the toggle to go from spray to regular flow. The faucet is very good looking, but for the price I really expected better quality.
Disappointing for the price
Faucet review
Works well, albeit a little weak on water force. The undersink weight detached at one point, but has been solidly reattached ever since.
Excellent Quality
We usually purchase Hansgrohe. They are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. Kitchen faucets are too used to cut corners on quality. Traditional, but sleek.
Stylish but Defective!
Installed this faucet in my new home, within a month all the black finish on handle and spout the finish is coming off. Almost $400.00 dn the drain. Very disappointed.

We love the functionality of the faucet and it was very easy to install. But we were very surprised by the obvious mismatch between the finish of the base of the faucet and the spray head. The base has a brushed steel texture and the spray head almost looks like chrome. I called Hansgrohe and asked for a replacement spray head and the new one they shipped looked exactly the same. It kind of sticks out like a sore thumb.

We replaced an existing similar Allegro faucet that is no longer manufactured with this faucet. The existing faucet had an internal leak which could not be repaired according to Hansgrohe. This newer model is not the same quality as the previous one. The old Allegro unit is heavy duty and weighs over 10 lbs. The new one is less than half. The handheld sprayer is actually made of plastic covered with matching paint. The previous one is made of stainless steel, not plastic. Also the hose is of less quality. The new one has a “quick connect” connection. This is all plastic, not brass. It will deteriorate over time, then fail which means leaks.
I bought this as a replacement for a Grohe Ladylux that they don't make anymore. My husband wanted a pull-out head as opposed to a pull-down (since they don't always stay in place when retracted.) Our plumber installed this easily and so far so good. It looks great and seems to be good quality.
Nice, simole kitchen faucet
This faucet is perfect for someone looking for a clean design, excellent quality and no frills (e.g., sensors). My only complaint is the finish on the wand is slightly different than the finish on the faucet body. It’s the same color, of course, but the wand is slightly more shiny/polished. Also, if you are replacing an older faucet that has no water saving flow restrictors, beware that this faucet has a significant flow restrictor. While this would have bothered me previously, I now appreciate this feature given the severe drought we have in California.
Defective hand sprayer but resolved quickly
The rating reflects the fact that the hand sprayer was defective out of the box. Of course I didn’t know that until I had installed it. So, I was stuck with a kitchen faucet that leaked from the hand sprayer. However, Build customer service was super helpful in sending a replacement despite the fact they were back ordered. So, I received an entire new one and just swapped out the hand sprayer and returned the package. The faucet seems to be working nicely now but it was unfortunate I had a defective product at first.
Hansgrohe kitchen faucet
This Hansgrohe kitchen faucet is much better than the previous models we’ve had. I preferred the lower profile look we’ve had in the past but I’m very pleased this somewhat taller model makes far less mess!
Repeat customer
Great Hansgrohe product line. Easy install, smooth swivel function, spray handle extends and retracts easily, the handle smoothly indexes back to the home position, and the 'spray' function reverts to the full flow function when the water is turned off.
PNW Remodel
Other than dripping a bit more than other faucets after being turned off, this faucet fits what we wanted. It's got a bit of height to get above tall pots, the sprayer can be turned on/off while the water is running, it has good water pressure and it retracts well. We are overall pleased with it.

This faucet was very very easy to install. The directions were limited, but fairly straightforward. It took me longer to remove my old faucet than to install the new one. I was pleased to find that the flexible hot and cold water supply lines were a lot longer than others I have installed so I did not need additional lines. The main part of the faucet is solid brass and feels like a quality fixture. The sprayer part is plastic. I wish it was also brass, but it is what it is and seems to work fine. I do recommend buying plumbers tape for a nice seal around the hot and cold valves.

After spending hours researching kitchen faucets, I decided on this Hansgrohe. So far we’ve had it a little over a year and it’s been perfect. We bought this specific type because it doesn’t swivel at the base. Previous faucets always eventually locked up due to the hard water we have that drips in and gets into the base. It was easy to install, looks great and works as promised. It’s a bit early to rank it’s value. Being on the pricey side, it needs to last a long time to make it a great value, but I have a feeling it will.

Home Essentials Direct- thanks for printing my review update. However, I thought that my original review that you printed a few days ago, was a classic review, and I hoped that this update would be printed back to back with the original. Instead, you discarded the original review and replaced it with only this disjointed update. If you agree, Maybe you could fix this. Thanks, Fred Zarse (California Freddy) Some reviewers of sink faucet installations suggest that you do it yourself. If you believe that the money saved is worthwhile, go to it. But the installation has a few factors to consider first. 1) Any time there is water under pressure, amateur mistakes can be expensive. Concealed dripping leaks are always a threat. (Also stripped threads). 2) A plumbers van has grommets, fittings, washers, spacers and special tools. 3) When you are on the floor on your back, you are upside down. If you drop a tool, gravity helps your wrench collide with your teeth. 4) The usual printed installation instruction manuals are not very helpful. Read them slowly and carefully, take a deep breath, and then call a plumber. Pay your dues. Admit that you don't know what you are doing.

Replaced a pfister faucet that started leaking from the sprayer hose. The steel optic matched the stainless steel soap dispenser pump from the pfister set so I am glad I didn't buy a new soap dispenser to match. The installation was very easy. It had all the hoses I needed. If you have older valves be prepared that they may not fully shut off the water. You'll need a couple wrenches and a phillips screwdriver. I didn't need a basin wrench to get into the space under my sink. The new hoses and connections seemed to be pretty good quality. I like the feel of the handle and that on cold the handle remains forward so I don't drip my wet hands over the counter when I shut it off. You can't toggle from spray to stream without shutting the faucet off which is a difference, but not a big issue for me. The water pressure seems slightly less than the pfister, but the spray pattern is more effective. The provided hose weight is heavy and keeps the spray head firmly docked.
