had a pair installed by pros. years of hard well water cemented the original fixtures such they had to be sawed off. But the subject of this review is Tye Symmons Allura faucets. The plumbers were complimentary of the quality of these fixtures. the Plumbers took about 1 hour to install both fixtures which included the audible sawing. When complete, the faucets looked great and were very smooth in operation. I think anyone would be pleased with this equipment.

Excellent choice. Easy rotation of handles. Reaches well into bowl. Good match for older components antique or shiny brass. Had to cut a length off the drain pipe to fit it into the trap, but that will depend on how long the previous was, if it's a replacement.

Not a bad faucet for the price. The drawback is Syimmons DOES NOT MAKE PARTS FOR IT.

Not happy with it. Hot faucet works fine but when I turn on cold it vibrates and makes noises. Installed by a professional plumber. He checked out pipes, hoses, connections etc. said the problem was the cold faucet. Hot works fine. Returning this and now I have to pay again to have it reinstalled. Very disappointed

Great looking faucet. Easy to install. Only con is the website shows the supply lines are included with the faucet; They were not. I probably would have picked this model anyway, but Home Depot needs to correct their website. It's misleading and disappointing.

I did have some difficulty with lift rod movement that interfered with the valve hose assembly which had sharp bends in the hoses due to packaging. Also, the enclosed card offering an entry for a $250 gift card quarterly drawing if you write a review, lists a web address that is unreachable.

This Allura faucet is a very classy looking faucet. Designed for a four-inch opening, this polished chrome dual handle faucet has a nice look and feel to it. The spout extends farther out and a bit higher that most faucets in this category. The spout’s elegant design adds to the overall look. Installation is simple, you need slip lock plyers, an adjustable wrench, plumbers putty, and supply lines. Removing the old faucet and drain will likely take more time than installing the new. The drain tailpipe assembly is plastic, but all are these days. Faucet is held is place with two screw-on plastic nuts that attach over the feeds to the valve/handles. I had no leaks from the drain or faucet. Operation is smooth and easy. Drain stopper moves up and down with ease as well. Overall, a very nice faucet for a bathroom, either as a new unit or as an upgrade.

Wow is this chrome polished, it really stands out. Symmons is a family owned US business that has always had great quality and this one is no exception. Easy install with everything you need, plastic where needed so as to be removable in 20 years with out a grinder or torch. To install I needed a grinder to remove the American Standard with the brass nuts frozen onto the metal drain pipe in our 1980s rental. Good flow and easy off and on. So far easy to clean according to the tenant.

This is a very nice bathroom sink faucet, and I am pleased with the look. I was in need of replacing the existing faucet due to age and discoloration. This installed very nicely, no leaks, and looks great. My bathroom sink is small and I was looking for "the right-sized" faucet as a replacement, this is it! While not a household name, Symmons is a brand well-known to plumbing professionals who seek commercial-quality faucets at reasonable prices. This is a good example of a better-grade, 4" centers chrome bath faucet that will likely last for years. It includes an aerator for modern water-saving applications but a replacement one is available for persons wanting a higher flow rate, as seen in older faucets. Traditional pop-up design with non-corroding parts. Instructions are graphic, and while in color and large enough to easily see, they lack any wording, typical with some brands of faucets. Repair parts listed, a plus.

This is a perfect set and look for our pedestal sink. It has the shiny, clean look of chrome that I love in a bathroom. The look of it works for a pedestal as it is simple, but has some design curves and ridges that have a traditional/ farmhouse style look we were looking for. Like most Symmons products, this faucet is solid and seems well made. Installation is a bit different than any I have done before (some plumbing experience, not an expert). I was at first concerned about the plastic connectors on the Y junction that runs from the hot and cold to the spout. The plastic pieces are not cheap or flimsy. They are thick walled and seem solid and the double O rings inspire confidence. It is just something I had not seen before (pics attached). Otherwise, everything looks great on the faucet.

I've taken to replacing all of the faucets in my home. Home Depot carries a large selection of faucets for this project I have taken on. When my home was built, it apparently was easier for the contractor to put in all the faucets that have a center-ball style of faucet. These faucets are difficult to turn on for someone with arthritis. They are difficult to set the correct mix of hot and cold water and will leak if not fully depressed. To have to pull them up to turn them on can be a challenge. That's the primary reason for choosing the Allura series of faucets I am choosing to replace these ball-style faucets. Each handle works independatly, allowing for precision control, ease of operation & quick adjustment of your desied temperature.

I ordered this faucet to replace a cheap, dated one. It came well packaged with all its components. The main unit is a solid, heavy piece. The chrome finish was uniform throughout with no scratches or nicks. Replacing the existing faucet was a breeze. Everything fit together with no issues, and luckily, no changes to our plumbing lines were needed. Once fully connected, the handles turned smoothly, and no leaks were detected. This classic 4 inch centerset faucet is a quality piece I highly recommend.
