Really nice, try to get it on sale though...
The good: Seems like a good build quality, the netting is fine and high quality. the zipper on the door feel smoth. The tent poles themselfs are high quality aluminium, and the end of the poles have a small attatchent making replacing the nylon inside really easy. I really like that the rainfly clips to the tent, makes the overall tent heavier but a really nice feature for setting up quickly. The Bad: a bit expensive.. would like to see this in the $60.00 range. the tent stakes are the traditional L shaped metal ones, they do seem lighter but it'd be nice to see the triangle aluminum ones with this higher tiered quality tent.. the seams are not all taped, although the rain fly extends to near ground cover, I haven't tested in rain yet.. and its good to self treat any tent you get for rain anyway. overall I'm very pleased with this tent
Awesome tent!
I took this tent with me on my New Mexico backcountry elk hunt. It packs down small and is very light. Super quality materials, very durable! The rain fly makes a good sized vestibule for me to store my gear at night. This is the best bang for your buck on a backpack tent!
Great one person tent
Great compact tent. Very rainy summer and the tent never failed to stay dry on the inside. Easy setup and transportation.
[Rewarded Review] Lynx one man tent
I bought this tent in preparation for hike up Crest View mountain in Colorado . I spent with night warm and dry through snow and strong winds. It was an excellent purchase, I carried it in my pack, 4# sets up easily, and packs well.
[Rewarded Review] Very happy!
I’m newish to backpacking and bought this tent on a recommendation from an experienced friend. I really like it! It’s a cinch to set up and packs away easy. I
Bought this for a 12-day trek at Philmont. Gotta say I was nervous. Seeing others carrying expensive ultra-light, well-known brands made me question my choice of a Lynx. Bringing this teeny, lightweight, 1-person tent with minimal reviews as my primary source of shelter was a bit of risk. But it paid off! I stayed dry through several rain storms and one MASSIVE hail storm. It really took a beating and came out without a scratch. It even outperformed some of the more expensive tents! I highly, emphatically, recommend!
Used for Philmont, takes up very little space. Kept me dry. I would recommend. I now have a bulky roomier tent that weighs the same but for Philmont I would take this again,. At the current price, you can’t go wrong.

[Rewarded Review] Fantastic tent!
I bought this tent 7 years ago and it has been the best backpacking tent I've ever used. It's so great I decided to buy it again after wild horses trampled and destroyed my first one. It's been through straight line winds at 40mph and heavy downpours and it stays dry as long as you know what your doing when you set up the rain fly. It's a sturdy simple and easy to set up tent. The only drawback is that it's not horse proof!
’ve used this for bike touring and gravel ride camp outs. Very easy set up and take down and super compact. I have only used the rain fly once but loved it! I was able to keep my shoes totally dry. I loved the pop up velcro vents at the top, this was an awesome idea whoever put it in….thanks!
[Rewarded Review] Great In Wet Weather!
Just got this tent for a backpacking trip. Rained a lot and this tent did amazing. Stayed dry in pouring rain. Quick and easy to setup. You don’t need to pay a lot of money for a great tent!
I hiked 1700 miles on the PCT with this tent. I would not trade this tent for any other. It saved my butt plenty of times. Thru and section hikers should checkout this tent!

Good, versatile 1 person tent
I have used this tent several times in both hot / dry weather and cold / wet weather. Pros -Easy setup. I can be set up and ready to go in about 5 minutes. -In hot and dry weather I remove the top and get plenty of air flow. -Netting provides full protection from bugs -I'm 6' 5" and weigh about 250 lbs and I can fully stretch out in this tent with room to maneuver -Has been waterproof through strong rains with no leaks. -Like the vestibule to keep gear dry or use my portable stove in windy conditions -Room inside for small gear with attachment points to hang a small bag, fan, or light Cons -Definitely need an underlayer. Not sure the tent material could withstand rough ground -With the rain cover on, there are air vents...but don't expect much air movement. But this is the case in almost every tent I've had. -If using tent without the rain cover, you need a tarp over the top to prevent moisture buildup from dew -Too heavy for the long distance back pacer, but great for short haul / multiple day camping -Awkward (for my height) to transition in / out of the tent - getting in is easier than getting out. And I am unable to sit up straight inside the tent...I have to hunch over to sit up. -Tent stakes are ok for mild weather, but they don't go deep enough in soft ground to withstand heavy wind This is not a tent for serious cold weather, but works well year-round in Texas. One man tents for a person of my size are always a challenge, but overall it works well for me and I really like it.
[Rewarded Review] Super lightweight
I purchased this one month ago to use for an upcoming backpacking trip with the Scouts. It is light weight and is an easy set up. The specs on the tent dimension are accurate. I am 5’4” and fit in the tent just about head to toe. Definitely not for anyone over 5’6”. If you need light weight, no bells, whistles, just to carry and sleep, this is perfect. Even one of the fellow Scout dad’s recently purchased this same tent for this trip due to all points mentioned above. I have not used it yet, but looking forward to it.
Tent is everything it needs to be. Light, easy to set up and keeps nature at bay. Its also an excellent value .

I especially like the vestibule that keeps my boots and pack out dry and out of the rain.

[Rewarded Review] Awesome gear
I recently purchased this tent and enjoy it. It's easy to set up and the quality exceeded my expectations. I was surprised by the quality of the tent's stakes as most tents come with cheap stakes. I'm sure this tent will last me many years. Furthermore, Moosenaw's customer service was outstanding and answered all my questions promptly. The you for the great product.
