pretty straight forward instructions. Make sure on your trailer hitch and if you need an additonal extension. I installed it on my H2 Hummer. my concern is/was that initially I had to have the back closed and the tire swing out. With the extensions, I was able to keep the back up and tire out. We can still access the back of the truck for food and beverages. the swinging charges.... are just right.... Now if I could only train my dog to get me a beer.

Hitch Chairs Are Fun

First the good: Great fun at the beach and many thumbs up and comments from passers bye. (Drive on beach at Daytona Florida) The Bad: The rope needs an easier method of adjustment; it took many attempts to obtain the proper hang height. The angle of the top hooks doesn't allow for proper straight on position for hanging the chair. Spread bar containment ends could be designed better; (rubber cups or similar point of connection).

Best way to lounge

We bought these to take to the beach with us on my husband's truck. Also looking forward to being able to use them going camping as well. Perfect to just sit and lounge without having to find a place to hang or tie a hammock to a tree.

Nothing like hanging out at the lake on these hammocks enjoying the scenery. I would recommend this for anyone with a trailer hitch that isn't in use.

This is possibly the most relaxing chair you could have outside of your house! Once you have the height dialed in, just find somebody to serve you!

When I saw this item, I thought about the weight limits. Two people hanging on that vertical bars with a locking horizontal plate...c’mon man. I was surprisingly mistaken. Two average weighted humans, 175-190 lbs was no problem. Didn’t even feel flimsy or precarious. I was quickly kicked out of the chairs by my wife and her girlfriend. My buddy and I were the test dummies. I never saw that you could purchase the hammock bar that lowers on each side bar arm to accommodate a hanging hammock AND two hammock chairs when the arms are upright and locked. I’m contemplating get that Hammock/Hammock Chairs item instead and returning this one, but I already have a nice hammock that requires the stand (unless I choose to just hang the hammock on hooks using the tree ropes it came with. I have two other durable tree hammocks that don’t have stands that I could utilize with the truck hitch hammock/hammock chairs contraption.) Anyway, it works well. Easy to set up and install into hitch. I already had a 2” into 4” hitch adapter. This item is 2”. Buy it.It’s fun.
