Nice looking lamp. Hang only has it a month or so I can’t really rate it. We will see how long it lasts before giving it a 5 star. I haven’t had much luck w LEDS anyway

These outdoor led bulbs look great in my outdoor garage fixtures. Light up entire area very well but they are not hard on eyes to look at.

Nothing makes a prettier light bulb for in a light where the bulb is visible than an Edison bulb. There are so many different glass choices and differing filament patterns, it really comes down to personal choice. Most lights will tell you the recommended glass shape, but even then short of your light limiting you to the manufacturer recommendation; you get to chose based on your own style. Additionally, now you have so many color choices. From Ambers to Day lights, bright whites… again, all comes down to personal choice and application. I’ve thus far used day light, bright white, & Amber. We used bright white to replace a normal, non-Edison bulb in a lamp post light wanting the bright light for sidewalk/external house entrance lighting. We tried (and love) an Amber for an internal entryway light, giving more than enough light; yet not blinding light when coming in from darkness. So shop, look, try, until you find the one you like. We are 1 by 1 replacing all of our bulbs to LED Edisons for the lights that have visible bulbs. Highly recommend.
